Episode reminded me of Scott Pilgrim. Loved it! I lol'ed at the wingman comment.
That episode wasn't nearly as gay as this episode.
Every time I think I've got a handle on what Cartoon Network will allow the Crewniverse to do, they push it back further. How heavily will this one end up being altered for other markets do we reckon?
Lovely episode- so wonderful to see another side to Pearl, and her working her way towards chatting to the Mysterious Woman was very sweet. I hope she sticks around, and this turns into a long-running character arc.
There is literally nothing you can do besides not air the episode.
I thought that was fake.I'm pretty sure this is why Russia has been obliterated in-universe.

meh ep
pretty much, yeah.Pearl gets her groove back.
I don't like Pearl.You have no heart.
Cute episode. Looking forward to see Pearl moving getting her confidence back.
Also, did anyone else feel like Pearl only went along to one up greg? I know they've started to patch things up, but it still seems like something she might do.
pretty much, yeah.
I see people keep commenting about how "OOC" Pearl is here when really it's been established through out the series that Pearl use to be a well known bad ass renegade. Hell, she even sings about it in Mr Greg (the episode where she makes it clear she's gonna take steps to move on and was finally able to have a 1 on 1 with Greg). She sings about how she feels duller now ... and now she's playing the part of "repressed nerd" which makes sense lol
She's trying to get those qualities back as she moves forward. Steven and Amy never saw that side to Pearl but it's been shown and talked about in the past.
You have no heart.

IKR!?Pearl vs The World
Mystery Woman could be Pearl's version of Sex & the City's 'Mr. Big' where they don't reveal her name until the movie when it's casually shown on Pearl's cell phone.Request denied, if only to discourage "she's really a ____" type musings
We know her name starts with an S, but that's it. I figure, if she's to be referenced in future episodes, that they'll either give us her name in full quickly or tease it slowly over several episodes... as they tend to do with things.
more importantly, steven could call in some political favors with the mayor and get ids for the gems
Pearl not having an ID or a driver's license (but apparently looked into the legal process enough to actually try and get a driver's license at one point) as well as our first real appearance of cops (outside of DUMB POLICE in Cat Fingers) single-handedly made or broke hundreds of fan theories.

First the show is anti-traditional family, then pro-gay, now it's Immigration reform propaganda! Really glad it's going under the radar of all the reactionary organizationsIt was pretty damn funny hearing Pearl outright say she wasn't exactly a citizen.
Animation error, or does Gem-Earth have two moons?
I think I've let go of my theory that SU takes place in a post-post-apocalypse world, but I'm pretty set on the lack of real centralized power in America.
