How's everyone enjoying it? Was thinking about grabbing it today but decided against it as I have Forza Horizon 2 coming and ROTR to do amongst other things.
Thought i'd wait for a price drop and the free content to come. Plus, wouldn't be something i'd put 2 hours a day into or something.

It's "fun" when it's working, which is rare at the moment.
You can safely stay away till they get their server situation under control... Unless you just absolutely enjoy getting 1 in 5 good online matches you play (assuming you can stay connected to the network).

Shittiest launch of any game, and the reviewers giving this game anything above a 7 are out of their god damn fucking mind.
If this was ANY OTHER GAME---it would get ass blasted into 4/10ville and join the bargin bin so fast that Ono would be begging even a company like Konami to hire his squirrley ass.

Ive been doing just that and im having a blast. The whole cast seems fun to play and the difficulty ramps up just right to keep up when you learn buttons and combos.

It's awesome on PC. Great graphics.
Just the same server issues that are affecting all platforms, and you have to do a little work to get PS3/PS4 sticks to work.

While I'm disagreeing with you, entirely. R6 had a similar launch and still has a shit ton of problems. I'm having fun with both games, though.
Server issues have been bad, which is what I assume most people are mad about.
The server issues compound on the fact this is really an early access game in feature set but costs $60.

The core game works (meaning local multiplayer, training, etc) and is great, but the online is borked right now, which also affects modes that get you fight money. The steam reviews honestly just seem like childish overreactions though, so I wouldn't take them seriously at all. It's day one of an online heavy game, things are probably going to get smoothed out soon. I'm hoping they at least get the battle lounge working by tonight.

I think I'm going to hit up Mandarake or something and try to find Juri and maybe Cammy Chun-Li. I only have a binary Ms Marvel but she's pretty much perfect so I'd like some other Bishoujo statues.

To be fair, unless you really like fighting games, those aren't things a lot of people would find enjoyable. Back in the day I bought SFIV to play arcade mode, challenge stuff, and locally with friends. Outside of survival, V doesn't have those same single player options.

It is, I just meant that the core gameplay and versus mode were good and working. Online is huge for this game, clearly, but day one server issues are to be expected and people are being absolutely ridiculous with some of the stuff they've been saying.

The AI is weird on Survival. I don't know if it's intentional or now, but the AI goes from piss easy to pro-kickass levels between one stage.

I don't have 2 dualshock 4s. Because I have to have the Dualshock 4 plugged in to even use my PS3 stick. Like fuck sake. I'm sure my room mate would be cool with using a DS4. Controllers are fucking expensive and so are new fight sticks.

I can get into matches non stop in R6. I didn't buy R6 at launch. It has barebones SP too, but hell at least I can get into games with friends and I'm enjoying it.
Plus the PC version had a patch that has fixed every issue with the game essentially a week ago. That same patch is due for consoles tomorrow.

Like most here I'm frustrated. Frustrated one of my favorite franchises did this. The people behind the scenes are making moronic decisions---this should NOT have launched this month. End of.
I'd rather pay my $100, and get a complete product that is then added onto. This is nowhere near a fully fledged fighting game launching in 2016.
I would imagine SF5 had a bigger budget than say MKX, and look at how much was on that disc at launch. Look at Guilty Gear XRD. Hell, look back on SF4.
For all the big talk of "we're learning from our competition" they didn't learn squat and launched a busted no modes shell of a game.
Again, I KNEW THIS going in as far as content on disc, but I expected that shit to work. 4 betas? You can't let me do private matches at least while you iron out match making?
Come on. Cacpom doesn't deserve a pass here. They should get slammed into the ground. They did this SAME SHIT with MvC3. This is not an okay way to treat your fans and future fans who support you day 1.
