In terms of PC performance, haven't a bad thing to say about it.

I'm on a i7-4790K with GTX 970 and I'm maxed out all the way with smooth 1080 60.

Runs great.

If only the online ran as well...

I think I'm going to hit up Mandarake or something and try to find Juri and maybe Cammy Chun-Li. I only have a binary Ms Marvel but she's pretty much perfect so I'd like some other Bishoujo statues.

Man I hope Juri is out in April.

Are you in the States? You should be able to get most of the recent Kotobukiya bishoujos new for $50-$60 from places like Amazon.

Does deleting and re installing SFV fix the performance problems of the pc version for messing with the graphics settings alot?

I think you meant that for me.

I can get into matches non stop in R6. I didn't buy R6 at launch. It has barebones SP too, but hell at least I can get into games with friends and I'm enjoying it.

Plus the PC version had a patch that has fixed every issue with the game essentially a week ago. That same patch is due for consoles tomorrow.

Same concept here---great games on paper, and shit execution at launch I guess. (again idk except GAF word on what R6 launch was like)

Like most here I'm frustrated. Frustrated one of my favorite franchises did this. The people behind the scenes are making moronic decisions---this should NOT have launched this month. End of.

I'd rather pay my $100, and get a complete product that is then added onto. This is nowhere near a fully fledged fighting game launching in 2016.

I would imagine SF5 had a bigger budget than say MKX, and look at how much was on that disc at launch. Look at Guilty Gear XRD. Hell, look back on SF4.

For all the big talk of "we're learning from our competition" they didn't learn squat and launched a busted no modes shell of a game.

Again, I KNEW THIS going in as far as content on disc, but I expected that shit to work. 4 betas? You can't let me do private matches at least while you iron out match making?

Come on. Cacpom doesn't deserve a pass here. They should get slammed into the ground. They did this SAME SHIT with MvC3. This is not an okay way to treat your fans and future fans who support you day 1.

I may be coming off like a ranting looney to you, but fuck man... I just want to play some matches. :/

Yea, no sorry. R6 is still a mess on consoles until the patch hits, which is why citing it is a poor example. R6 launch was far worse then the launch of this game, especially on consoles.

I'd rather have the game come out this month and online issues fixed. As for the rest of your post, I don't even care enough to respond to some of those assertions.

This had a higher budget then MKX? lmao

What kind of performance issues are you referring to? I've noticed that the weird framerate issue from the earlier betas -that only occurred on the right side of the waterfall level- has happened to me again in the retail release.

Why even bother trying to talk to someone if you aren't even going to read what they write?

I would honestly wager this had a bigger budget than MKX for development with the merger of Sony and Capcom to bring it out. I'd be surprised if it didn't.

You do you man.

There is an error on PC that Digital Foundry mentioned where if you mess with graphical settings continuously without exiting performance drops each time you alter settings.

Happened to me, but a fresh restart sorted it.

Assumed issue was this one.

Also need to mention how kick ass the menu theme is in this game. Happy to sit here for hours just listening to it.

Just picked the game at Gamestop. Im surprized, it also comes with a one month subscription to Capcom's twitch channel. Did anyone else get this?

I'm genuine surprise with all the network problem they have on launch day after 4 betas, and even with the experience of SFIV. WTH.

As a programmer, I sometime wanna know what actually happen there. They might even use the same server/deployment/env as beta, how could this still be the problem.

I would be shocked if SF5's budget was even half of MKX. They had to get Sony to help fund it, thats how bad Capcom is right now. Their latest games have been ports and remasters.

This ismt an excuse by the way, just a fact. Theres no excuse for this clusterfuck

Game starts slowing down on character intros/supers and water level gets bad performance.

Do you guys think the people at Capcom feel shame and disappointment right now at the state of their game? Or are they sort of rolling their eyes and muttering "entitled gamers... Sigh".

I always wonder is situations like this. If I'd spent years of my life creating something, then when I launched it, it's disappointing people left and right when it's released, I'd feel like total shit and work 24/7 to make it right. I mean, I'd be appalled! And if I was a company manager or CEO, heads would be fuckin' ROLLING right now, literally people being fired all over the place.

Just kind of makes you wonder

I did read what you wrote. You think a game that Sony funded because Capcom didn't want to had a higher budget then MK?

Like... what?

dammit i keep dying in survival mode in the high 20s - always because of stupid supplement decisions. xD
(sucks that you don't even get "money" for failed attempts... also no character level I guess?)

Yeah, there is no way in hell this game cost anywhere near MKX.

It always happens, ALWAYS. I mean look at the launch of Diablo III... And who know better about online gaming than Blizzard? :/ It always happens... But yes it's still boring. I played online yesterday and today without any problem and since 3 or 4 hours it's impossible.

4 Betas. We had 4 Betas.

What the heck were they doing?!

No Arcade mode... almost no offline content at all while we wait for things to get fixed....

Can't even do private matches with my buddies. This is nuts.

I think both the players and Capcom developers know that it is the executive's fault for:
a. Not allocating enough resources towards a single player mode
b. Not giving the servers more potential for scaling up to a launch (a usual move, sometimes even made by giants like Blizzard, with authentication servers bottlenecking the logins, for example)
c. Potentially moving the release up by a month.

Man, these server problems wouldn't be so bad if Fight Money in SP wasnt reliant on a connection. Developers are giving people less and less incentive to buy games at launch, and they wonder why AAA is struggling.

Lolwut?

Do you not know who Warner Brothers is?

I saw MKX ads on the sides of BUS STOPS. The game has Jason, Alien, and Leatherface licenses. It was on Conan. They even had an MKX tv show on CW.

Bugs Bunny money is top tier here.

What if you aren't playing with PS Plus do you still get Fight Money???

Uh, Capcom could never reach Warner Bros in terms of budgets.

Just picked up my collectors edition from Best Buy and I just noticed a 4.99 charge on the receipt for something listed as "STREET FIGHTER V BBY EXCLS." Is this a separate charge for Cammy's costume, because I thought that was a preorder bonus.

no offline content? wow thats odd ive spent all day playing offline have over 200k FM

Say what you want about the SP content, but this game was probably gonna have server issues at launch no matter when it releases. Certain problems will only show up on launch day and no amount of beta testing can prepare for it. It's just the nature of the beast.
