You get to 128 by beating all of Story Mode.
I realise that now haha; I won too thinking, hey I'm doing pretty good.
Japanese Spooky!Capcom TV Street Fighter V Celebrity Stream tonight.
I need to stop using Ryu, I feel like I have no options for opening opponents other than jumping and going for cross ups non stop. Its getting me killed, going to go to Karin or Necalli tomorrow. The game been matching me with a ton of good players compared to the beta where people were so bad, super hard to win now.

What's the best strategy to beat hard survival mode? I kinda need dem colors.

It's actually a lot easier with FANG. You just have to make sure to keep your distance and keep spamming the air poison as well as the ground traps (whatever they're called).
There's definitely some nice, strong drawings peppered in. Poor Bengus. Why not divvy out character stories to multiple SF artists? Give each character a distinct tone. Missed opportunity...
EDIT: The Japanese perfomances are riveting. Goes a long way towards my enjoyment of Story Mode.

Love the battle costumes. BTW for importers of any region, costumes are account locked and not shareable across accounts on the same console. Lame but guess its to be expected given how they will have a shop and two types of currency.

Last night the matches that I had were smooth as butter.
But I had one slide show match
Lost 2 matches against a Laura who I really underestimated after the first round and one really good Chun-li. Chun-li is such a powerful character.
Buddy of mine was playing Vega, so I found out the hard way not to eat anything with Birdie when Vega has his V-trigger.

I'm still having trouble finding matches but the people who can find them seem to be having relatively stable matches.
Battle lounges are still wonky. IF you do get them working, they seem to disconnect mid-match and then stop working for some reason.
I played maybe 20 ranked matches without a problem, no lag even.. I haven't tried battle lounge in the last 30 minutes but it was still broken.

Good to hear! I haven't played a single match yet. So I'm probably gonna start up story mode, and then go learn some stuff in training before I head into survival.

I had a hard crash during Ryu's story mode. Had to pull the power cord out and rebuild database. Wasn't happy. I also had a crash trying to power on to SF5 from rest mode, but that may be a PS4 problem, but had never happened before.

Guys on a 6 button fight stick layout what configuration do you guys recommend?
I have two of my buttons set to triple kick/triple punch and the rest set to both light/medium punch kick.
Should I change it to 2 sets of light/medium/heavy attacks and not assign the triple punch/kick attack?

I can only say that the hori fighting commander 4 is really good. I'm waiting for my madcatz pad, it had some delay.
Switched over to the PS4 version to check that out. Had two separate times where the Down input on my PS4 Hitbox stopped registering for about 2 seconds. Luckily neither instance affected the match, we were pretty far apart both times it happened but it makes me pretty sketchy on what is going on.
Had a decent run on PS4 side with Bison but the few matches I played with F.A.N.G were all pretty much blow-ups even against bad opponents. Going to take a lot of time for me to get used to him I think (though it's nice having good AA buttons compared to Bison). Don't think I ran into anyone from GAF tonight, maybe tomorrow. Only got to like ~580 LP on PS4 side tonight, but I ended on a 5 or 6 win streak at least.
Not sure which version I'm going to wind up playing for most of my online play. It felt to me like there was a little more input delay on PC, but it sure looks nicer.

Yes. With your setup you can't activate V-Trigger and you can't do heavy versions of special moves when you have EX meter (EX version will come out).
You should have a button for each punch and kick and activate triple punch/kicks by pressing them simultaneously imo.

Yeah, its lame but I can still play online on my non PSN+ JP account here in Japan weirdly enough. Not sure how it works exactly but not complaining at the moment. Other than having used a BS name on CFN... which why it ain't our PSN names is w/e.
Not opposed to use my other account for this since I would never try to play my NA friends from here in Japan lol.
Is that even legal ? In France I'm pretty sure they could get sued for this kind of deceptive advertising.
