Your loss, buddy. Game is incredible. Well, unless you really want single player content. Then it gets messy.
 
I have a code for Ryu alternate costume if someone from outside of the US wants to try it.

I tried giving it to someone in this thread from the US but it didn't work. However, the code for the Cammy alt costume worked for someone from the EU. I am in Australia.

does anyone in here want it? If so, send me a PM.

he beat Ricki in grand finals, this was right after the match, on stream Ricki was posing with Justin (I assume for a photo off screen) and justin was on his phone) and seconds later I saw the tweet. I just thought it was funny and a sign of the times we live in.

I had my first laggy match against a Bison, my chain grab (the one where you hop to them) connected, but then somehow Bison slips out of the animation lol.

The first 25 stages of Survival are completely free to pretty much anything. I can get that far just spamming full screen Eagle Spikes with Rashid.
 
The gameplay is fucking amazing. Such a shame online doesn't work at all. Bought the game today and only had four online matches.
Died on stage 27 for the second time (on normal) with Cammy.....ffs -_-

On another note. I can't wait to see what this game looks like in a few more months. Once everyone knows how to play the game.

It's not necessarily what to use but when to use it. For example I just set this up in training mode but the moment Vega hits the wall you can neutral jump and medium kick at its peak and get him every time. Same with Canon Spike, wait until he touches the wall, buffer the motion and then as soon as he comes out of his spin press either medium or strong kick depedning on range and that should also get him every time. Finally standing roundhouse works as soon as he's above you and has a reasonable amount of active frames that you don't need precise timing. Haven't tried it but back and medium punch should also works but Cammy has an anti air for pretty much any angle you come at her.

You do have to do the other survival modes actually. There are more colours.

If you like the colours normal gives you though, you're in luck!

They just need to have an option to turn off the animation of the background characters. That would likely solve two problems people have with the game.

Heeh, they can remove them for all I care if it means we can have locked 60FPS, I can't understand how this was not the priority.
 
It's not like the stages are all that appealing to look at anyways. Only one I like is Kanzuki estate and the bystanders don't really help that much. Capcom's games with 3D models really suffer on the stage front.
 
Man I'm having great matches against 2k LP players, playing footsies, zoning, safe pressure trying to convert. But I'm pretty free against 1k randomness, god damn WHY WOULD YOU UPPERCUT THERE
 
Maybe i'm a dick but it feels good to see ''failed to send results'' when I lose vs a guy that was teleporting like crazy during the whole match
 
I got like a 9 win streak bc the server failed to send results on all my losses.

Was a relief when it got popped back down tbh. Felt rather fraudulent.
 
Laura going on the offense is just impossible to do anything about it feels. Have no idea when it's safe to do anything against her except for if she does her shoulder charge and I block it, litterally anything else and I dunno. She just keeps normal hits going and I either have to guess and hold block, hope she doesnt command grab, or spam jabs
 
I've never cared about Cammy. In SFIV, I downright hated Cammy. When she was leaked/announced for V, I rolled my eyed harder than I did for any other character.

I haven't taken my scrub Cammy online yet, but I'm having fun with her -- a lot of fun in fact. Like, Birdie levels of fun.

I tried to do it but I'm not sure it worked. There was no tearing so maybe I failed.

I also don't understand why a game that you basically have to play locked at 60 would tear at all. Somebody educate me.

Also how much difference in input lag are we talking between vsync on and off?
