I miss some of the old characters :/
Honda, Sagat, Blanka, Guile....why...
I miss MANY characters, none of them are those characters. So, to answer your question... because they will never make us all happy.
You are getting Guile soon, I am getting Alex soon. When will we get the other characters?
Well, for me Cody has a real shot of making season 2, for you Sagat has a great chance of making it.
On the other hand, my chances of getting Dan, Maki, or Haggar are less great; similarly, Honda and Blanka may not be coming in the near future.
Roll with the punches. Keep supporting the game and we may get our characters yet!

Trying to get some colors characters and finally played FANG for the first time. I didn't think I would like him much but he is hilariously fun, dude has lots of multi-hitting attacks and his poison just saps the health away. Won't replace Necalli as my main or Rashid as secondary but still, dude is just fun. Really can't wait to see how the DLC characters play since I expect them to not play the same as we're used to.

Interesting. Lowest it went was 4 frames which is a big deal. Guess they need to go the route of removing some background noise? Worked really good with TTT2.

The fact that she can convert pretty much anything to a knockdown is very strong. Off a cr.LP you can continue into either EX LL or L/M SBK for a knockdown into more stuff. Her vtrigger just makes it even easier.
Plus she plays the neutral game VERY well. She has some of the best AAs and just good buttons.

I think I'm getting better at fundamentals with ryu. I'm learning player patterns and using his forward dash to apply pressure. Making use of the double standing mp frame trap to apply pressure.

Wow, taking a day off from this is seemingly what I needed. I'm a lot more collected, make less dumb mistakes, and I'm sitting on an 8-Win streak right now when I could barely even get three wins on Friday.
I'm getting better at figuring out matchups, too. Karin in particular scares me a lot less now, knowing that she has to spend meter to reliably anti air Vega's FBA.

I have been trying to play local multiplayer on my PC and I have been having a hell of a time getting this game to recognize any controllers. everything i try is either not detected whatsoever by SF5 or it tries to map both controllers to the player 1 slot and stops me from doing versus mode.
a straight up xbone controller didn't work for some reason. dualshock 3 and 4 controllers set to emulate xinput didn't work. the only controller I have that works without doing any extra work is my steam controller, and that thing is just a nightmare for this game.
am i doing something wrong? i know this game is bare bones but when i plugged in an xbox one controller and the game didn't even recognize it I felt like i must be an idiot.

Don't want to jinx it.. but ever since 12pm (PST) i've been getting matched in ranked matches about every 15-30 seconds in between matches. Hopefully all that server mumbo jumbo has been all sorted out by now. Don't know how the lobbies are holding up though.

I've had 1 ragequit out of 300 matches played in ranked *shrug*
Maybe the ragequit are a regional based thing? I'm only getting EU opponents

Is there any way to check out your Win/Loss record? Checking out the fighter profile and it just lists the history of matches, but hopefully there's a actual win/loss column that i'm missing somewhere

Also had this. Was getting the same people over and over again with 5 Only so I decided to pick 4-5, first match gave me a lagfest...
