You could try deleting the games files on c:usersyourusernameappdatalocalStreetFighterV

If the game supports steamcloud you'd have to delete the save from the cloud as well.

The save file stuff only seem to store unlocks, I had to do the tutorial stuff again (skipped through them), but my profile is still the same. I think it's a capcom server thing. Some games with this setup allow you to decouple your steam account from the game account (I did this with Tera iirc, changing between Tera accounts). Capcom don't even seem to have a customer service for this game. The Streetfighter.com site is so bare boned.

I guess I could do the inviting if I ever need to do that type of thing. It kinda gimps me but I guess it can't be helped.

Really want this game but was burnt with other capcom fighters, may wait a year for the ultimate or season1 edition or whatever

I suggest picking it up now. If you pick it up in a year plenty of people will be at a higher level, right now everyone's starting from scratch.

I'm not totally new to fighting games, but I think I'm at an disadvantage with my PS4 gamepad, but at least it is not against randoms then :), I'm not a pro either.
I'm not new to them per say but I'm more of a single player guy. Smash Bros is my fighting game of choice and I play it religiously. I got SFV for PC because I recently got the HRAP V for xbone, 360 and PC mainly because it supports 3 platforms. Modified it with an original restrictor and it works great. Been playing KI and have been having a blast. But I still want a good stick for PS4/PS3. I just built my PC last month and it's a beast so I didn't want to skimp on games.

CountBlackule has created the PS4 community. Just send him a PM to get a invite!
Unfortunately, I'm getting it for PC. Although I do have a PS4. I may get it down the line of it's cheap and I get a great stick.

But crossplay is awesome.

So is online down? I did the VPN trick but I'm not able to connect to CFN.

Are you constantly getting the "can't connect to CFN would you like to play offline"? If so, turn off your VPN and give it a second, try to reconnect to CFN and it should go through.

Mind if I ask, are the pre-order costumes available to be bought with fight money already?

If you didn't get a preorder code you have to wait until March.

Really digging Laura. I think I'll main her until Ibuki comes along. I've finally jumped over to a fight stick full time and holy hell I'm getting my ass kicked.

Okay, I was wondering because I got the PSN (Chun Li) one but I also want the Cammy and Ryu alternate outfits. Didn't know if they were going to be retail exclusive for the forseeable future or I can buy them with fight money.

Well me too, more SP than MP, never was that competitive player, but I would like to try again with SF V maybe. Are there cheap fight sticks available? Madcatz or HORI ones maybe?
Or anyone you or people on GAF could recommend?

Can I ask why a potential season 1 edition would be preferable to jumping on board now? DLC characters and most of the cosmetic stuff will be purchasable with the currency you earn while playing the game. So if you start palying now or soon, you will probably be able to have earned the content you would get in a potential season 1 edition anyway.

Am I blind, I can't find tutorials at all. Just training.

it's under story mode if I'm not mistaken

You know what would be awesome which I doubt will happen? A mode similar to KIs shadow mode and Nintendo's amiibos. I think the idea of fighting player trained CPUs is an amazing concept. At least for single player content/training yourself, etc. But I don't think it will take off like I'm hoping. Maybe even a ghost mode similar to Tekken 6 would be neat.

Shadows are the coolest fucking shit. One of the reasons I want KI

I get to get bodied by myself!

So is Alpha 3 not canon?
They showed Charlie's Alpha 2 ending instead of being blown up with M.Bison. But why make him a Frankenstein monster?

Yeah it sucks. I think it is more the store isn't ready yet than they wanted retail exclusives. I don't think they'll be purchasable with fight money though, I think/thought only the story costumes could be bought with fight money. Not 100% on that though.

So I'm definitely having an issue with my start button in training/matches on PC. I can use the start button when I'm in the main menu but if I enter a match or training it's not recognized anymore.

I thought the issue was isolated to my PS4 stick (and using x360ce) but I plugged in my 360 TE-S and I'm getting the same issue when playing natively (deleted x360ce).

I guess I'll try and delete SF5 and re-download on Steam.

It's more about trusting capcom, I know they said base game will go forward with DLC etc and I love that concept.

I believed them when they said chars would be DLC with marvel vs capcom3 and I understand there was an earthquake but that still doesn't excuse abandoning mvc3 and just releasing ultimate mvc3.

I really hope they don't break their promise and this game is amazing but..... capcom....

I'd recommend a Hori stick just based on my experience. It's the best stick I own. The PS4 HRAP 4 Viewlix looks amazing. But a good stick is pricey but I think if you plan to invest time into fighting games it's worth it. People say control types is based in preference and if you're new to the competitive scene I think choosing your preference now is a good idea. I chose a stick because I heard its easier to pull off combos and moves and I did notice improvement in my KI skills when using a stick and I can accurately pull off combos better than with a controller.

However, a game like Mortal Kombat X, I find using a PS4 controller to be better. Again, based on how the combos work and ultimately, your preference. I want to try a fightpad for it like the fight commander 4. But for me, from a majority of the fighting games I've been playing, I prefer my stick. King of Fighters, Skullgirls, UMVC3, and even MUGEN, I use my stick.

Another preference I suppose is the restrictor. My stick came with a square restrictor so I modded it with an octogonal restrictor which made moves easier for me to pull off.

I'm no expert lol but this is what I've learned just in the last month.

Yeah I think I'm the only person who thinks this is a revolutionary concept and should be in all fighting games. Not necessarily the physical amiibo/figure requirement but the actual mode. It's so cool.

Haven't been able to find an answer on the internet, including in the OP, but can you play against friends in crossplay or is just matchmaking like in Rocket League?

How does the Cross play between PS4/PC work? Just networked together, or can I challenge a specific person across networks? Asking because I have some friends split, and we're wondering if we can play together.

PS4 TE2 on PC.

Does it work automatically or do I have to tinker with DS4Windows or something?

I have DS4W but it doesn't seem to recognize the TE2.

I thought so, heard good things about HORI Fightsticks. I heard the same, especially SF V is made for arcade like most of the fighting games, so that makes sense.
I've found a HORI one the Fighting Stick MINI 4, looks pretty decent for $40. Amazon has it back in stock at the 20th February.
Thank you for the information an the insight, really appreciated :), and I hope a fighting stick will improve my play style too.
