Where is the V-sync setting?
You can override via drivers I believe or use an ini setting (no link right now, but easy to find online)

That's never going to happen so Capcom has to start punishing it. HOnestly I wish in addition to punishing it Capcom would do the ragequitter hell that was in MvC3.
Yeah exactly, will add you, just tell me when you want to do some matches
From EU too.
Edit: Weird, says he doesn't find your ID, I'm on PC, but should work nonetheless because of cross-play.
Hmmm....I have no idea what's going on, lol. I'll try to add you tomorrow (or later this day)![]()
Why isn't there a system in place for RQ on day 1? This is a know issue for fighting games.
This is the real head scratcher. It's embarrassing that Capcom has NOTHING in place when this has been a common issue for every online fighting game ever made.
Do we have a spreadsheet of Gaffer usernames? I couldn't find any links. My SF ID is "ProtocolS" on PC if you want to practice with an "advanced beginner" (don't think I'm quite at intermediate level yet =D. I mainly play Necalli currently

Edit: They're all so fast at it too. I land the last hit and get disconnected, I'm slightly impressed they're so determined.

How do Chun players do the Airborne Hyakuretsukyaku almost immediately after jumping?
Seriously can't do it more than one out of thirty times, and I just see it pulled off so effortlessly.
Sigh, so many people in top 100 are ragequitters.
If you see someone called DEAFvsGame with a 10 win streak they are a compulsive quitter lmao
I beat them really easily so there's no way they were good enough for that streak, and they disconnected right as I KO'd.
Yeah... think that may be it. Just tried it a bit. I'm using a kind of cheap eight-way stick (gotta force edges to do quarter circles), so I think my execution is probably affected by the stick then. Are you using a stick? I think they are just doing a 360 starting with up-forward.
I wouldn't want a system that punishes disconnects with how shaky the servers were on day 1. They are a bit more stable now, so hopefully it gets added soon.

#expose them tbqh. Also KappaPAWA. He slides a lot as Vega and quits to preserve his streak. Last played him like 13-14 hours ago and he had a 17 win streak. Quit when I beat him.
I wonder if the PS4 trophies are contributing to people wanting to rage quit.

Trying to figure out some basic chains. Thus far, I have only been able to:
Lp/lk> back medium punch> High kick> drill kick or rising kick whatevrr its called
There are a few others i can use before the back medium punch but so far, that seems to be the only move that starts a chain. I can do that jump spinning move she does, downward kick off that, and then back medium punch and so on
Sorry for lack of terminology since im not a vet player in this genre
I just invited you, let's play
I'm not sure if it was mentioned before and didn't feel like opening another topic on sf5 but did anyone mention the stage mystery?
The first stage announced, the china one, has 2 "stage finishers"(bus and ramen thing), the texture of the ground are very high and it has some climate changes.
All the other stages are plain in comparison, no finisher, no dramatic changed no nothing.
How could it be? Did something change during the developer line that made them rush the process and do simpler stages? Was the idea scrapped ? It's a weird thing since rarely you see games that apply a certainly gimmick only on one stage....
The China stage was the first stage they showed (probably the first one they made) so they put a lot of emphasis into making it as good looking as possible.
As for the stage finishers,my theory is that they planned to add them for all levels then realized they won't be able to finish the necessary components in time for release, let alone this pointless cosmetic stuff so they just put it on the backburner.
I need a rival in this game. Playing online is fine and I can win most of my matches, but I am seriously needing someone that gives feedback and can play. I am also willing to help novice players
I am Brazilian, but I can try to play with anyone anywhere. If someone's interested to play add me on PSN (Seph_luis_br) or with the fighter ID (SephLuis)
There's this roll move that Vega players keep abusing.
Where's the point I need to do a reversal? I keep getting counter hit if I try to do a reversal n the 2nd or 3rd roll. And it seems to have almost no recovery.
Probably. The restroom on the left side of the London stage suspiciously looks like there was supposed to be a stage finisher there as well and that was one of the earlier stages they had shown as well if i remember correctly.
