You should be rushing me down as Necalli not backing away and charging. Learn all his safe on block moves and basic combos. His c.mp and lk stomp and ex stomp are safe, use them more often. Really you hand to use all safe on block moves when advancing, hard moves and unsafe specials should be reads

Someone needs to teach me how to clutch it out in this game. The amount of losses I take when the opponent was one combo away from dying is too real for me right now.

I like it a ton. Great to have the frame data and what's cancelable into what for all the moves, list of usually 20 some combos for each character etc. The Ryu & Ken matted art that comes with it is surprisingly nice as well.

I'm pretty sure you're correct because Ranked was cake for me until I passed 1500 points. I've been in 1400-1800 point limbo for the past few days, some legit good players there.

There are also plenty of rage quitters here though too. Lots of people that rank back up to silver and don't want to down rank again.

Somehow I also get put up against people in the 3000-5000 range pretty often. I like it because I get to learn a lot while only losing 5-10 points.

His cr.mp feels unstoppable to me. It seems to stuff everything Birdie can do.

Also, is anyone else getting a bit tired of the same old character themes? I actually like the waterfall stage's music, but I don't get to hear it.

Well, the nash was right on top of him...you can actually see his leg extend backwards to right above the srk a split second before it hits because they pressed one of the kick buttons.
 
Survival is so mind numbing. I cannot even force myself to finish it with the rest of the characters on Easy yet.

Just make it seem like he's gonna win then rage quit on him next time. Reverse the tides and make him feel the salt for a change.

I've been getting a lot of mileage out of it, but some players are starting to figure out how to punish it.

What are some safe true blockstrings for Necalli? Just throwing out MP/crMP/crMK until you land a hit? I'd assume mixing up a mk/hk stomp sometimes might also work from some distances since it'll avoid lows and is safe on block.

I really need to step up my Necalli game if I want to make it to Silver.

For whatever reason it lists me as defensive even though I'm almost always trying to rushdown haha.

It was smooth for me even though it said we were around 3 bars. Was it working well for you?

Next time you play him, let him almost win and then quit. Waste his time.
 
Ranked matchmaking takes way too long. Needs to be much faster. Maybe a rematch option would help.

Also Battle Lounge doesn't give XP or lp or fight money. Why? Its essentially the same exact thing as creating a room in SFIV. That is how I always played. Create room and wait. Boot people with bad connections pre match. Faster than searching. Now I cant play like that because I want to rank up, and at the same time ranked is slow as fuck. Its lame. Only reason to play BL is friends matches or practice against someone good (though most boot me cause of low level I haven't played that much)

The offensive/defensive measure is majorly flawed. I was three bars but it was a tad choppy for me.

One time I grabbed your Laura, animation played out, next second I was eating your V-trigger. Still enjoyed it!
 
I can't seem to play Bison for shit on pad.

I'm grabbing a stick soon, but I can't do charge motions on pad for some reason.

Anyone have any advice?

edit 2: on the lag, ive had matches in ranked with US peeps and it was great, dunno why we lagged :(
 
Speaking of Getepe, Necalli is way easier to win with than Vega. I've been swapping back and forth between them and Birdie but I think Necalli is the dude.

Lol I was trying to show what's safe and what's not safe. That's why i kept jabbing u and not combing. But yeah, let's wait till they update the severs and try a more lag free game.

U gotta pick a main first off brah. Rashid, Necalli, R Mika. ???

My Japanese CE "Volcanic" Edition arrived today. Super freaking cool and gives a ton a of digital content too like all the retailer costumes plus additional exclusive colors, FM and titles.

...My US CE came with a statue, albeit awesome, and that's really about it worth noting. :(

Lounge giving points is probably more exploitable.

I've been slowly making my way through the story prologue and easy survival for each character (do one right after the other). It feels like I'm doing a chore for fight money or something.

If the end of normal survival was less difficult, and the rest of the fights leading up to it were more difficult, I'd probably have a blast with that mode.
