Rocking this sweaty Nash mod that makes him look like he just walked off a porn set lmao. Nash might not have a 3f jab but his normals are good compared to Laura IMO. His punish potential is high and it's real easy to link into super.

And make him playable for Final Round tomorrow? Not happening. Capcom's more likely to make him 'Top 8 exclusive' for a week at this rate.

Will he? Will they.
no. :-(

Where are the good mods? I have no clue where to look.

has any info gotten out about the tutorials? how they work, who worked on them, etc
if they're anything like the tutorial you get at the start of the game they're going to be totally useless

I'm tired of the weekly text update with nothing to show for it. That's not how a games service should work.

You want to make a weekly update? Then put something out.

At this rate I expect them to say 'oh, well, we'll be putting new content up weekly' and the content will be colors for a single character. It feels like 3 people are working on the game.

Dude! NICE match!

Really nice match.

Also kudos to that Dhalsim. Had some awesome combos up his sleeve.

Thanks guys.

I really cant wait for the challenge/trials update to come later this month.

I know I can go and watch videos on youtube, but i really cant be stuffed learning that way, I rather just learn via in-game tutorials. My combo game is utter shit at the moment, but can still pull of wins thank god!

Friends are all having fun with The Division, laughing their way through several nearly-botched missions, gorgeous graphics and epic loots.

Why am I salting here, staring blankly at the screen after a 7-game losing streak?

Wait, wut?

Please explain how it is "more efficient," and how it was already the case in SF4 with stuff like plinking and piano inputs.

You can Plink with select, you can Plink with L1 and L2. Wich is exactly the same as plinking on a stick. Plink is as easy on a pad. Same for piano input, you can "ghost map" lp mp on L1 and L2 or lk mk/hk on L1 and L2 to make the piano input moves come out almost seemlessly.

I play Guy on Street Fighter, not the easiest character to play you'll mostly all agree I'm sure. I rely on Plink for hard as shit combo and I do it on pad with no problem.

I know it's hard to believe for some, but yes, pad was already superior in SFIV imo. I'm french, and here all the best player play on a pad (Alioune, Luffy...). Alioune is considered as one of the strongest player in the world, and Luffy well, Luffy is almost unbeatable if he does not get lazy in SFIV. I play on a PS1 pad myself since third strike and I'm considered as one of the best Guy player of Europe. And what about the best Viper in the world (Wolfkrone) and the most methodical americain player (SnakeEyes, wich I consider the best) ? If some of the best players play on pad, it's not just because they're used to it, it's because movements are tighter and you can make motion faster than on a stick. Stick have some deadzone on neutral position, it takes some milliseconds to make a character move on a stock stick. You can mod it, but it's not the easiest thing to do. Dash come out faster on a pad too since D-pad input are tighter. You also have to make less effort to make your character dash FWD or BWD, wich is a huge factor in FT10 match. Same goes for motion, if you're at your ease with a stick and a pad, the motion is potentially faster on a pad since you have less movement to make the move comes out.

But again, it comes to what is the best way for you, but I see strictly no reason to make the transition from pad to stick for games like SFIV, especially with SFV.

Will we be able to buy the DLC / Premium costumes with our Zenny?

I kind of want all of them. but not paying the Ebay prices.
Hot Ryu prices aren't bad. I got a code for $5 yesterday. Must be all these Gamestop managers selling extra codes. Cammy's price is insane. I haven't seen Chun-Li's for sale.

Got demolished from mid-Ultra Bronze down to Super this morning. Constantly paired with Super and Ultra Silvers, it's hard to be optimistic when you see that but I can clearly see where I struggle when I get the rushdown as goddamn Mika.

Gotta practice being more offensive, I still turtle up and that's useless as her.

I think we will get the Alex trailer during Final Round. Best place for capcom to market right now. Cause let's face it these tournaments are the only way to get the word around now. Most of their potential customer base I think are not interested in this game no more especially with all the big name games coming out soon. With division breaking records i am sure most casuals have moved onto that game. So the tournaments are usually watched by good amount of people. Best free advertising. Especially during finals night imo.

Body and heart.

I love execution, but I have always played by feel more than anything else.

My characters always require stiff execution, though, and that's what I find most enjoyable in a character.

Just off gameplay alone, this is my favorite stand-alone SF title since SF2. Cannot wait for the roster to grow and all the modes to be fleshed out. It still feels like a beta release but the raw gameplay is so good that I'm willing to wait it out.

That is something many people don't understand. I'm having a blast with this game... or I would if I had mor free time.

Lol my brother is sonic hurricane, he wrote the footisies handbook lol

Quit on by a super gold, UK Ryu named MediZM. Back to casuals.

That guy sucks too much to be under 1000. Probably the result of rage quitting every single loss outside of his tier.

Also, you probably know this but, if you ever block or avoid a DP you follow up with stHP, crHP, mBolt. The stHP crush counters automatically, massive massive damage without having to use meter.

Yup.

This launch has been an utter disaster, but since I play so much offline, my enjoyment of the game hasn't been impacted much.

With 6-12 more characters, this will definitely be up there with Alpha 2 as my favorite SF.
