Looking back he might have been tilted since he lost game 2 when he tried to chip me with CA in the corner but I had V-reversal to roll out of there.

It's times like those that I wish the game had mics.

I still remember a good time in SF4 when I faced a Vega on mic who was super angry. He exclaimed when I hit him. He exclaimed even when he hit me. Even though he ultra'd me at one point I had absolutely zero fear of him attacking afterwards bc he was cursing up a storm while he did it and I could hear his fear.

Honest question. Do PC gamers rage quit more than console ones, anecdotally​ speaking? I've gotten disconnects from the last seven PC players I've ran into.

I thought it was just the FANG curse, but damn. That is a lot of quitting.

Man the servers are crap i got disconnected from a game i was winning and they took 66 LP from me.

First major outside of Montreal, sure. I wouldn't say drowning in pools is doing well, though. Not being able to play like normal due to nerves isn't good. I won my first match against Wong in the first set, but the longer things went, the more nervous and antsy I got. He knew that for the second time we faced, so he was playing very disrespectfully, and I wasn't able to challenge it.

And I'm not too into getting double jeopardied by Justin Wong. Tough times ahead if I'm supposed to be at their level if I want to even make it out of pools in the future.

And yeah, that's CountBlack. First time I met him was at Dreamhack Montreal in 2016.

Edit: According to the bracket, those who drowned in pools at 3rd place, as did I, were:

Isn't that one of T7's VR stages? A lowest possible effort for VR support, literally a flat ground + static background. Simple stages are great, but that isn't one of them. Wild guess here, but, are they standing on "water" to distract from the ground not breaking like in the regular T7 stages?

No, it's the Infinite Azure stage. It's the only infinite stage in the game.

The VR stage is a different night-time one.

I've been thinking about it. I played birdie for like 5 minutes and went " oh this is going to be my t hawk", so when the time comes, i'm going to play him, and be like ultra platinum with that one character

Or if hugo is annouced.

If they announce hugo, that's who i'm gonna play. I'm gonna be big, and i'm gonna back break the shit out of people

Whatever FF character gets in, I'm going to main forever. I played Rol, Poison, Cody, and dabbled in some Guy for a while. Would consider a Hugo as well. I just like those characters a lot even if I skew myself towards villains most of the time.

Birdie kinda reminds me of that "street" style those guys have so I picked him up recently and he's really fun to play. I love going a round without doing grabs and then springing that shit on them in the next round. He's so good about training people and then throwing them off by just putting out one of his tools.

Shit you can play some 4D chess with the can. Throw the can, they think "man he thinks I'm gonna jump, so I'll just take the hit". I dash forward, and they think "oh homeboy wants to go for that grab".

Nah, skye. Eat this HK CC.

Yeah he is street punkish. I wish there were more Street FIghter characters, that looked more like... folks fighting in the streets. Or more costumes that seem like they spontaneously got into this fight in the street, whether it more formal or professional wear or casual clothes. Regardless I do still enjoy the bombastic characters

In battle lounges is there an alternative way to kick a player out with a bad connection? All I can see is dismantle battle lounge, which ends everything altogether.

Yeah. Plus they do a good job of emulating their FF movesets so that's always a plus.

Edit: also wtf bonchan won another tournament.
