I like how they've implemented him. I can see his V thing leading to some interesting and comedic combos. And it fills the opponent's V thing, so likely to lead to an interesting dynamic in Dan battles. He's certainly looking less crap than he typically is.

Dan is coming the 22th, at the same time than the new mechanic, the big gameplay rebalance, new trials, new (free) training stage, Twelve (included in the season passes) and many new costumes.
Rose and its stage will be included this "Spring 2021". But Character Pass and Premium Pass already are available, so if you buy one of them you'll get her (and all the other characters and extra stuff like costumes, colors or stages) when released.
No PS5 enhancements mentioned as of now.
Yes, in addition to Dan, Rose, Oro and Akira there will be a 5th Season V character. Eleven isn't that 5th character, it will be included in the Season Passes as a bonus in addition to the 5 characters.

I haven't played Ryu so much since the betas! He does feel much improved now. V Trigger 2 has been good fun to trial with the buffs.
Cant say much positive on V Shift tho. I was a bit underwhelmed about this from the reveal. I just don't see it being something that effects too much in the game. I'm open to being proved wrong, if anybody has any fun V Shift clips please feel free to share!

Patch/balance notes are here btw:
I only had the time to check 3 characters, but it looks like cammy got a slight buff, lucia also got a slight buff to increase her pressure and seth got nerf.
However this is a pretty huge general change though:
1) Made the hurtboxes of the lower half of all jumping attacks invincible to grounded light attacks while the character is descending after the jump
2) Added an upper hurtbox to some characters' Crouching medium punch from 1F before active frames to the end of active frames.
3) The upper half of the hitbox for some characters' Crouching medium punch will no longer hit an airborne opponent.
1. no more anti air jabs
2. no more risk free easy anti-air cMPs like mika's
3. no more anti-airs that clearly weren't meant to be anti-airs like ryu or bison's cMP.

Kolins cr.hp seems to be a lot more effective than it looks like it would be. I keep trying to jump in on her with Blanka and get clean countered every time.

I havent played this game in ages and didnt remember it being so powerful. Jumping in with Blankas j hk and just getting stopped cold every time, looked very strange. I guess the move just has great hitboxes.
its cuz yr jumpins are reckless. u one and done'd me last night in matchmaking when i was playing seth you should stick around and play the set then you might learn something

Anyway, sorry for running after one game. I dont usually do that, but I really hate Seth (and Poison) as characters, and usually bail after one game.

I definitely agree. Hippie G looks pretty clean as well. I've enjoyed SFV so much, so this it's pure hype. V-Shift is going to have some clutch usage.

I dont like the look of Hippie G and that costume is wasted on Seth. Capcom should've given it to a female character.

I've grown to hate the way juggles look in fighters. Moves that don't look like they should keep someone in the air like a jab pop them all over the place, the shit animation having the juggled character flopping, etc. The way SFV handles juggles looks so much better, and have a satisfying feel to them. Even Gill's extended Retribution juggles manage to not look cheap and wonky.

Oro is a character I might buy straight away. I always liked him in Third Strike. I hope his st mp still puts opponents in a juggle state.

His juggle/stomp loops were a big part of his gameplay, but who knows. I'd imagine them giving him his spirit bomb, but it would use up both CA and V-Trigger like raging demon does.
I also completely forgot about Akira, and whoever the final character will be.....

Oro looks great and the way they mocapped his moves shows some dedication lol.
Everything about Rose looks polished as hell, I especially like her theme song; giving me bayonetta x castlevania vibes.
Her super being a galick gun is pretty sweet too.
Akira is gonna be my jam though, fast traditional kungfu chick with air combos? yessirrr.
That assist she has with daigo was hot too.
Also one of rose's tarot cards showed C Viper...I can't believe they are going to close out this game without her, considering all the appearances she has made so far.

Well that was pretty good, this format is perfect and they keep the fans happy with infos and a better transparency on what they're working on, their plans for future content, this is what they should have done since the beginning, since Oro's departure things sure improved drastically in this regard.

Akira and Daigo look great! The arrange of Dan's theme is super cool too. Great streaming.
Maybe you'll see them during a few frames during a certain move his two hidden secrets, like in SF3.
Viper appears in the story of the game and there's a remaining character, so who knows... but I think it's more likely that the last character will be either Fei-Long (the game still lacks a rekka focused character, they removed rekkas from Karin and Poison and he's from SF2) or some know character that never has been an official SF playable character. Someone from the SF lore like Goutetsu or a Darkstalkers guest character (like Morrigan's 2D sprite).
