Hey some quick questions, I am buying a US 3DS XL but I live in Korea.

1: If I import a US 3DS XL (I live in Korea) and then buy a Korean 3DS XL charger will that charge my DS without frying my system.

2: I want get Pokemon Soul Silver however I can only find EU versions of the game other stores that have the US versions wont ship to Korea. If I buy Soul Silver is that region free or is it DSi?

3: If I buy an EU version of pokemon silver could I transfer my pokemon to a us copy of black or white 1 and 2?

Any help with these questions would be greatly appreciated.

I want to go through my music and convert my AIFF's to AAC's to save some space. I wanted a 48khz sample rate but iTunes will only let me select 44.1 for AAC's. Other file types can go to 48. It's not a big deal, but does anyone know why?

You say or do something that an admin finds noteworthy (usually embarassing and/or funny) and hope for the best. Obvious tag chasing or begging will get you banned though.

Dude... just buy a drill. I did it myself... 50" Plasma TV, cinder block wall. Took me an hour.

I'm considering pens but I honestly have no idea what is good and affordable. I just use whatever works, I type and prefer pencils for papers. >_>
She is a bit fussy. Doesn't like grips. Prefers to have black ink etc.
Suggestions need not be pens, they were just my current line of thinking. I don't want really fancy stuff but I don't want to be too cheap either since it is my mate's 18th.

How about something by Keri Smith? This Is Not a Book, Guerilla Art Kit, Finish This Book, Wreck This Journal.

If you decide on pens, Pigma Micron pens are far and away my favorites to work with. You can get her a set with the different sizes.

stew's a good call. takes as long as you can manage, 'cuz it just gets better as it cooks, but complexity is basically brown floured stewmeat (cheap) in a heavy pot, then dump a bunch of rough-chopped vegies (pearl onions, potatoes, carrots, etc) and some water/beef stock in, bring to boil and then simmer forever if possible.

that's the easiest way to stew, anyway.

When making statements for the press or the record police officers stick to the facts. Speculation or opinion is out of the question. I think when speaking off the record it's just self-conscious wankiness.

there was an idea in science fiction that basically boiled down to something like any civilization that advances to the point that it is capable of interstellar travel is doomed to destroy itself (or something roughly like this) that has a particular name i can't recall. something like tobin's gamble, tobin's paradox, or some other T name and a paradox/gamble/law.

anybody have any thoughts? my google fu turns up nothing.

Not science-fiction but you might be thinking of Fermi's Paradox. Greatly simplified this states that given the size and age of the observable universe there must have been species out there capable of interstellar travel of millions of years. So where the hell are they? One of the possible explanations is that intelligent live ends up destroying itself before meaningful (in interstellar terms) advances can be made before or shortly after achieving interstellar space flight due to nuclear war, biological contamination, runaway nanotech and the likes.

They could have either be demoted to Junior after making the thread (example I know of being NinjaBoiX) or just have it as a tag to mess with people.
