They definitely seem like the better characters, at least in all the artwork Ive seen as of late. I think Izaya will be my favorite.

Episode 12 is the only one I've seen if that was meant to be good then the 11 episodes before it must of substantially lowered everyone's already low standards.
The arc the show's in now is definitely best described as "bs drama shit".
It has its moments, though.

Another great episode. This show is the best this season hands down. It sort has the perfect mix with comedy and drama.
. I guess the one complaint someone can have that the show basically depends on Taichi but I think the character is good.

Plus it's not really an unreasonable number of disks for a 25 episode show.
At 35mbps average video bitrate + 3mbps for audio, the series should take about 173GB, they might encode at a lower bitrate and not use dual layer disks but it's a pretty reasonable amount of disks overall.

Sword Art Online 4
One of the better episodes so far. It was extremely well paced despite leaving certain stuff out. The transitions are much better than the last and everything is pretty coherent. Not only that but we get more insight to Kirito's personality as well as his character making the episode feel more heartfelt than the previous. The action seemed alright. The information about the game is extremely well presented especially about player colors. The only part that was a bit odd was when Kirito talked about Suguha.
Good animation, I enjoyed it for what it was and I'm surprised that they're willing to change his outfits nearly every episode.
Next episode is another side story but from vol 7 rather than 2. I'm hoping that this will be two episodes instead of one because of how detailed and well-thoughtout the entire story was. Hopefully....

Much like I couldn't escape Fate/Stay Night when I watched Oreimo, I'm paying for my Ro Kyu Bu sin by having loli antics leaking into Sword Art Online. Fuck everything.
It wasn't all that bad though as there was plenty of UI porn, some nice usage of the in-game stuff such as player indicators and skill systems, and Kirito walking around being a

It's one of my favorite side stories. Really really good. It also sets it up for stuff in the future if they decide to continue the series, if they adapt the SS well.
Welp, time to go watch SAO.

I don't want to comment on anyone's top ten lists in particular because, well, there isn't much point in doing so. I just wanted to add that I haven't posted my own because I literally cannot create top ten lists of anything whether it be books, anime, films of what have you. There's just far too many works I enjoy in a variety of ways, some of which aren't even comparable to each other.
Just say that Bakemonogatari is your number one and nothing else can compare.

was also an awkward moment was so awkward, that secret, just throws everything off. To think it would lead to an actually emotional moment with Inaba and then them forging their bond forward was not what I expected. Though did she seriously do the same to him? Is she in love with him and he with her, and them all? Its just so open ended now

I do have one question regarding episode 4 & the LNs.
Was the story episode 4 based on written from Silica's perspective? Kirito felt very much like support cast rather than the lead this time.
It was Silica then I believe it shifted somewhere in the middle of the LN. I forget. They change perspectives A LOT in the LN for various stuff.

I've been told that at some point two years worth of semen makes an appearance in the LN. Hope they adapt it into the show.
