Is there a way to set your browser to specifically block images of Ryo-ku-bu or however the f you spell it? Because when I feel like browsing gaffu on a Saturday morning (the worst hangover cure I have ever tried, btw) I sure don't want to feel like an accidental pervert looking at basketball lolis.
This episode was pretty great for its trench-coat antics, also I think this new fairy might be the only redeeming fairy in the series. (Cope-sama doesn't count as he's a vegetable, a hideous vegetable) We are getting closer to the yellow precure, Can't be long now. HYPE.
that the gardening club president was going to be the yellow precure and was almost disappointed. Good save at the end. I guess it's almost certain that the student council president will be the yellow precure now!
The fight was pretty cool too continuing the trend from the previous episodes. Also the deserterians are becoming more and more ridiculous.
HYYYYYYYYPEEEEE! Crazy good fight this time, seems like it's a 2 parter though. Cure Sunshine's transformation is pretty sweet and unlike the other two she gets her very own unique sequence. Kinda unfair really, yellow precure discrimination. Her costume is also erm... A bit more revealing than the rest... Some very neat animation in this episode as well which is expected since this is meant to be a mid series climax but... Still neat.
HeartCatch PrettyCure 24
(No pictures this time because spoilers)
This episode further cements the notion that CUre sunshine's powerlevel >>>> the rest, she even gets her own
finishing move in the form of some sort of bullethell-esque spam, which is completely different to Sunshine's, Marine's or even dark Precure's finishers also forcefields
We also get to see the progress of the efforts of the characters in the form
of visiting the tree in the Sky
. Another thing this episode is trying to convey is that finally the PreCures seem to have power to
oppose the dark precure something that seemed impossible 3 episodes ago.
We're back to life as normal, the fashion club as well as its newest member go on a summer training camp. I really enjoyed this episode for 2 reasons, it had some neat exposition (yes the N-word again) with the third precure getting to meet the other 2 characters a bit more personally with some hints of yuri while at the same time
the generals are holding a training camp of their own
leading to an awesome fight between all 3 precures and all 3 generals. Another sort of tease we got was how
sasorina got hit with the tact but the other two saved her before her genkification was complete. What DOES happen to a desert messenger when getting hit by that attack? I guess I'll have to watch on!

You plan on ignoring half the people who post in here?
I honestly don't get why people feel the need to watch a show they are uncomfortable with and don't enjoy. Just stop watching, it's not that difficult?
only exception is when a certain somebody has taken your family hostage until you finish the show.
Reading through the thread and I thought the two month wait for the last two episodes of Madoka was bad. It's going to be a long two weeks for some people by the looks of it.
Since I first started posting I've noticed a big slow down. When I first started reading the thread in Winter 2011 the OT seemed to move at about 6-8 pages a day. The last couple of seasons seemed more like 16-18 pages and I couldn't keep up. Now it seems to have moved back to the 6 pages or even less range.
I decided to buy Mana Khemia 2 around when it came out and it starts out kind of slow and formulaic but once you get all your party members and unlocking all the different abilities it became pretty fun.
The female and male characters aren't just skins either but get different abilities and see the story from different points of view which is nice. There's not really much story but more the little slice of life type moments that are more the main draw.
I also really like a lot of the music in the game. While I probably won't play it again for awhile I liked it enough to go and buy the first Mana Khemia which I had missed, although I haven't got around to play it yet.
Ha I'm watching Hyouka of my own free will. I'm just a glutton for punishment.
The student film arc is awful, absolutely awful. The way they use music in this show and specifically in this arc is offensive, they try to create fake tension and wring out other fake emotions from the viewers by constantly playing the same BGM tracks over and over when its actually just completely unfitting and uncalled for.
I really do hate this show but Chitanda is the reason I'm sticking around. I heard I only need to make it to episode 12 before it gets good so I'm almost there now.
More secrets, more drama, and more fun. I picked this show up expecting comedic hijinx but instead I've gotten a decent drama for my troubles. Well, aside from (Caution: Spoilers) this exchange. Then again,

I was making a joke about you claiming that Chitanda is holding your family hostage to finish Hyouka
I still intend to watch the show but these impressions just make me sad. Might be the first KyoAni show I hate. Still waiting for the Bluray volumes to come out.
The first two stories were simply okay, but who cares about them when the Bakeneko arc is so fucking amazing holy fucking shit.
I mean, Mononoke is one of my all time favorite shows so it's kind of weird for me to wait this long to watch this arc. But dear god is it good. I'll be rewatching Mononoke soon because of it. Not much else to say really, this shit is only three episodes long so there are no excuses for not watching it, everyone should give it a shot, it's really really good.

To be fair, the movie arc maybe only good because KyoAni that doing it.. I might laugh it aloud if read it as novel. The uncle's past arc part was beautiful though.
Fuck yeah, more (ugly and inconsistently animated) asskicking!
Dude whose name I can't remember who leads the organization whose name I can't remember is such a badass.
A short training arc. That's nice. This wasn't a terrible episode at the very least. I feel like this show is on the literal borderline between something decent and crap and each week I feel like it jumps between the two.
On the plus side, I beat Whitney and got my third badge.
Here is the timestamp of all the scenes with BGM playing during episode 9 which is the last episode I finished (and its terrible). A 24 minute episode having more than 15 and a half minutes worth is pretty crazy. Especially when said music is totally uninspired and nowhere near matching the amount of effort and work being put into the show on the visual level.
The most egregious use came during the scenes where the 4 of them were talking to various club members to try to solve the "mystery" and when they were talking to each other after said scenes. There was just no need to do this.

The least the show could do is to use actually different tracks instead of the same handful of ones over and over, ones that happen to suck really bad too. And yes there are way too many scenes in this show where they decide to drum up that same track for background music instead of just having silence. There is nothing wrong with silence. You can have emotional scenes in a show without having to resort to using all that music to lead the way.
