Man, a lot of that was oddly depressing. Even in a post-apocalyptic world, bullying is still rampant.
I feel like this was one of the few episodes that did a good job showcasing the unique art-style with some very nice scenes and backdrops. The animation quality felt like a return to the first few episodes, in my opinion. The episode was an interesting departure from the usual silly oddities with a more subdued atmosphere. Overall I liked it a lot and it was nice to take a look into the protagonist's past life as a student. I'm curious as to where this story will head next in the final episode. Man I'm gonna miss this show.
Why is Shimao such an asshole? He literally goes out of his way to make Hazuki's life as fucked up as possible. I'm not if the show is trying to present his dead ass as anything other than a narcissistic selfish asshole to the infinite degree, but if they are then they are utterly failing at it.
This show really went downhill once the main character changed. Shimao is a real bore, a jerk, totally pathetic (back then and now as well) and completely uninteresting.
Hakuoki Reimeiroku 01 - Dudes look like ladies, with overflowing colored hair. Aside from that, interesting first episode. The main character is unappealing though, its the rest of the characters that made it work for me. Will stick with this one for now.
Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihohet 01 The art style really drew me in, it doesnt look like the typical anime. What made it even better was that it was a great first episode, the story is fast paced and the action sequences are gorgeous. Sticking with this one too.

Souma finally returned and in a great fashion too, his attacks being even more powerful solidify him as definitely the strongest on the team since Kouga. So glad that we get them back together
.
Jabu
needs to come back and show us his skilled/fight sometime, well all the old saints
This episode was pretty good on the whole. The sequence of events was handled pretty well and the brisk pace really enhanced the enjoyability of the battle while still leaving enough time for personal dramaz. One of those kind of pre-climax episodes full of declarations of determination, tough choices, tears,
the kind of "after this battle is over" promises that people make knowing they'll die before they can keep, and, most importantly, finally an actual declaration of protag-kun's love for Nobuna. He was actually pretty smooth, at least exceeding the hamfisted blushing, stammering NOBUNA-SAMA DAISUKIIIIIIIIIIII that I was expecting at some point
.
And, of course, WELP re:
that end
.
In spite of the srsbns the first few minutes of the episode still pretty much all freaky fanservice though, hahah.
Skinship between a shota and a developed woman followed by armpit molestation
The double crossdress double-cross was actually kind of funny if 100% expected
.
Did protag-kun seriously encourage Tokugawa and Akechi to invade Korea after Nobuna unites Japan? Considering his purported mastery of Sengoku history, is he intentionally trying to fuck the timeline up even more than he already has?
and for firehawk, in case he was actually asking me what happened in this episode:
Unless I'm mistaken, Nobuna decides to take her army to Echizen, the territory of the Asakura clan who is one of the few to still oppose Nobuna. Azai Nagamasa allows Nobuna safe passage through his territory, however when Nobuna is between Azai's territory and Echizen a coup against Nagamasa occurs and Nobuna's army becomes trapped by opponents on both sides. This forces Nobuna to retreat directly through enemy lines, however she's tormented by the thought of ordering a detachment of her troops to basically stay behind to sacrifice their lives in order to slow down the Asakura forces even though it's the only way for the remainder of her army to survive. She considers surrendering to save her entire army, however protag-kun talks her out of it and volunteers to lead the sacrificial detachment, promising to come back etc etc. Protag-kun actually manages to hold off the Asakura forces through the use of a rapid-fire gunner formation that he remembered from his Sengoku history, but Nobuna gets sniped and TO BE CONTINUED.

It'll be about how, in trying to get you to stop watching anime, she rediscovers her love of anime, and then you spend quality sibling time watching anime together.

It'll turn out that she's a secret fujoshi who's been drawing gay porn of you and your friend all this time. One day you'll discover her stash of yaoi featuring you, and as she stammers embarrassingly, you'll trip on a stack of gay porn and fall on her. Your hands will mush her breasts as you stare into her eyes.
With how close they are Ojou should just let them get together and not choose anyone. Anyway a really awesome episode, as a Nova Liberta fan this anime has never failed to deliver on them getting screentime and really enjoyed both having some sort of conclusion to their respective path lines for their motivations and problems. I guess an S2 is not likely.
I used to always choose water Pokémon but I thought I'd go with something different in White and chose the fire pig. THen it evolved into something truly tragic and I did something I've never done in my complete Pokémon history, I dumped my starter on to the PC.

Yeah. Should be more like she's trying to silence be as she miraculously decides to run for public office, knowing that I as an Otaku will ruin her chance for election.

Finally started this one. I loved the original series and was pretty excited about AO, so I decided to let it build a while before diving in.
Goddamn that was a beautiful looking first episode. Beyond the quality of animation being stupidly high, I was particularly struck by the color palette. I'm not sure how I feel about Ao or Naru at this point; it's way too early to tell.
I'm a little fuzzy on my E7 details, but unless I'm wrong this seems like
it takes place in a different time/world
. Interesting.
Looking forward to watching more, even if only for the killer visuals and soundtrack.
