There will never be a Trek TV series. It's too small for CBS as a TV property. Even the one place it might end up, The CW, is on the Warner Brothers bandwagon now with their Supernatural + DC Heroes shows.
Well continuing with our SPAAAACE Drama, we realize that two of those aliens are totally DTF. Yep, they even donated animal jizz so they can repopulate the new planet.
BACK TO GARGANTUA, the self absorbed man, we find out that whatsherface was a frog before blossoming into a naked woman and then everyone shows up towards the end. One big reunion of everyone, and their respective waifu ideas.

Look, Trust me, I agree with you on that, but not because Trek is too small. Its because their is a culture of inherent racism starting from Les Moonves on down in CBS. Its not instutionalized. Its not even intentional - its more of a James Crow ESQ type of thing. Its the only reason I can explain why Gus Johnson was let go, why Moonves is so mad adamant in trying to get Columbia Pictures out of the hands of Sony by any means possible, Why the sports division got some idiot who couldn't cut it on ESPN First Take to give the "White DudeBros Prospective" on College Basketball and why his Big Brother Franchise has kept that woman on the show knowing that others have gotten fired for so much less these days.
And a company that does these things - don't even deserve to air Trek, TOS or AniVerse TOS.
The reason why Pacific Rim is so loved is because Del Toro is a big lovable old otaku who remembers the good old days and his kids watch Toonami. Warner Brothers is fucking happy too, because they made 90 Million dollars on the overseas gross while Disney lost over a billion in 6 months.
If Universal was smart, they would ask some of the Cast of the Fast Series to be part of any sequel of PR. It would be like future versions of these folk. I mean Fast is wajah as it is now.
), I thought this episode had everything the rest of the finale had been lacking up to the last moment. Putting
Chibiusa in mortal danger like that
certainly helped. It's easier to get bothered about the end of the world when
the characters you actually care for get in peril
. The thing I didn't get was Zirconia's role in everything, however.
Is she supposed to be the entity from behind the mirror? Why did she come back after being killed/absorbed by Nehelenia? What's up with all the multiple Zirconias?
Gratuitous :chet for Chet.

[Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon SuperS]FIN
I thought this was really good. Second only to S, even. It surprises me that this seems to be hated everywhere else, as I couldn't find a single run of episodes I didn't like, unlike in other seasons. The only complaint I would make against this one is that the shift in focus from Amazon Trio to Amazoness Quartet was just as abrupt as Hotaru's introduction in S --which, admittedly, is when the show started to become very Chibiusa-centric.
There is some obvious corporate meddling throughout SuperS, but I think Ikuhara and company did very well to work around the orders from above. Or maybe I'm just a pervert who enjoys seeing sexual imagery in my little girl cartoons. Five out of five incestuous :sdburtons
So basically, we have these three people who are DTF this one girl who took on different identities so it's up to her to fix it... but...
Dumbo wants to bone Maid chan
who was a princess
because she fixed his hand. Yep sure why not. So simple.
Okay wait, so for Gargantua, he's sent back to the past a bit to enjoy his life, and then fast forward to the part where he got someone locked up because of his selfishness. IM SORRY! (recreates world with her in it and is now DTF this girl) LOVE WITHOUT THE BUILDUP
As for Hazuki
all she got was a peck on the cheek, SHE WAS DENIED OF SCHLICKING WITH HER WAIFU, SHE JUST LEFT GOING HERE'S WHO I REALLY AM, A NAKED GIRL! ALL FOR HER TO GO IM NOT SAYING BYE, I MIGHT BE YOUR NEXT CHILD! YOU CAN'T FUCK YOUR KIDS! SHE WASN'T INTO DUDES. HOW IS THIS A HAPPY ENDING
Lilith
Got EVE back. Fuck you. Waifu stealer.
And then there was that dark skinned guy
who just happened to be here, and gets molested by the big tittied Fox woman for no reason.
We have some very simplistic forms of love.... to the point that I'm utterly baffled by this mess. I'm surprised this isn't the final episode since everyone has a conclusion, but there's still one episode left, and this one made me pretty damn upset to put it mildly.

Now, Kaiji or Ippo. Ippo has a slight edge because of the third season coming out this fall. Is Kaiji completely done, or can we expect another season of it?

So, like GooP, I still think stuff like this is weird. Although I suppose if you are conquered, it becomes a matter of time when the conqueror's iconography becomes your own iconography. For me this raises a lot of interesting sociological questions, but since this is anime, none of that matters I suppose. lol
And, I really hope this show doesn't turn into tragedy porn. But that look and the history between the characters kind of suggests a dark turn or at least a revelation about the other elite girl from episode 3. This really is turning out to be a poor man's GooP.
They are just following the trend of ripping off a massively successful franchise. Always happens. might as well be Gainax to do it.
Also WOW @ picture of Iwo Jima flag.
Well, they still have some material to adapt but I don't know if we'll get a new season anytime soon...
But hey, who knows! Ippo came back so why not Kaiji!

I kinda find it strange the conservative otaku is going after Miyazaki but not on the Iwo Jima one... but that's like opening a can a worms that effects the industry to this day.
I know that feelign ... i know it all too well , i was in english territory when i was young ( 9 years old ) and i befriended another kid of my age , despite the language barrier ( we didn't know each other languages )...
I know it can happen , i've experienced it myself.... but still the 3/4 of this episode really awoke some things in my heart.
So how does ones communicate ?
Certainly not with only HELLO & こんにちは
You need more than that , more gestures , but the overall intent was well done ... and i liked that FOR ONCE , the english voices weren't that broken.I do liked the fact that they keep english , even if it laster over 15 minutes.
In the end i enjoyed this episode greatly..
Will watch ..i hope the chemistry will be strong , no matter what they do with this cast.
Alice's living accommodations had already been sorted out with Shinobu's mother. They were just keeping Shinobu herself in the dark about it all for the luls.
What I wonder is what sort of weird pervert abducts space ships and plays videos at them. It's weird. I suppose we'll know soon enough but eh.
And yeah the Red Shoulder theme startled me.
He owns TV because nobody is going to call him on his shit that was dated after 2002. He is no leader. Hes everything the pseudo-conservative Antia Sarkasian says about the video game business today.
Real talk, you don't trust a man willing to destroy 52 years of building up (the superregional network CBS used to have which created what we call modern day US TV Industry) because he feels some kinda way.

This scene was special. This is the only scene in anything to actually make me yell "WHAAAAAAAAAAAT?!" at the screen. They may as well have just had a bus crash through your wall.
An absolutely horrible title, for a pretty great show. I have to say that I had no clue what to expect going in, but the characters turned out much more fun, and much less typical than what I thought they'd be. Mitty is a boss. Haru's a boss. The support cast is genki enough. And things are moving along at a serious clip.
All that said; I both look forward to, and dread, when things'll get serious here.
Sipping wine with her chère
Eating cheese in ze café
Telling ze English they are zo smelly
She is the one named Sailor Français
She will never give you a straight answer
Unless ze shrugging of ze shoulders is what you're after
Finished with a bit of pompous laughter
She is the one named Sailor Français
She is the one named Sailor Français
Haw haw haw
She is the one named Sailor Français
Haw haw haw
She is the one… Sailor Français

Demarco's Model. The greatest mistake in the history of TV (and the greatest lie, next to the long con, which the later deals with Japanese and British Influence in American Media outside of sports) is that the Shows are Stronger than the Network. That's not true, and Demarco has proved it with Toonami. CBS is the BRAND, promote the brand and the shows follow.

Toonami only works because of its niche appeal. And even then, it's not exactly lighting the world on fire.
If networks mattered, SciFi wouldn't have been changed to SyFy and they'd still be making science fiction shows instead of showing crappy game shows and wrestling.
I don't even think the idea of the lead in matters anymore, because I literally can't imagine someone being so lazy to change the channel on their television that they would watch a show just because it came on after a show that they actually wanted to watch.
Because if a particular scene wasn't a punch in the fucking gut from last episode, lets make an ENTIRE EPISODE OUT OF IT! REHASHING SCENES FROM THE FIRST EPISODE! WITH A TWIST
the 12 AM scene HAD WET GRATUITOUS KISSING, SHOULD'VE SCHLICKED MAN! SHOULD'VE SCHLICKED
AND THEN ERASES HER EXISTENCE FROM HER WORLD! TO TOP IT ALL OFF, SHE LEFT HER PANCAKES WHICH MADE HER CRY! A BIG PUNCH IN THE GUT FOR HAZUKI! BUT HEY! AT LEAST YOU KNOW YOU'LL HAVE A GIRL NAME HASUMI
This series was haphazard as hell with no proper transitions from world to world. It just happens like that. Few episodes were infuriating as hell, like the infamous episode 5, which I forgot her name thank god. This whole thing was like one giant tease to a punch in the gut in the end.
YOU KNOW WHY SHE'S GOING TO BE YOUR CHILD!? BECAUSE SHE CRUSHED YOUR HOPES AND DREAMS, THATS WHAT THEY'RE GOOD FOR!
I can't have what I want, and
The hat was the narrator all this time. :l :l :l :l

Yes, but you see there's the rub. Cable has this problem where every network doesn't have a strong identity because of the message Moonves and Summer Redstone stated years ago. But guess who has the strong Identity? The sports networks. The only reason why ESPN is being driving to the ground is the massive, massive hubris going on in John Skipper's Corner, he has spent BILLIONS in trying to find the next Tim Tebow and airing that type of Glory on his networks and he don't care what he destroys in the process. Now Granted the Older Networks are stuck in their ways. But there is a bit of Hope in Fox and NBC's try into the sports world.
What are the best legal streaming options for anime? I'm in the UK, but I have a paid VPN service for netflix, so can use that to access it, if it doesn't support my country.

I think sports shouldn't count, inasmuch as it's almost an entirely different category. If brand mattered, CNN would still be the top news network in the US, for example.
That said, I do find it funny that I basically think all three big US broadcast networks are shit. They're just shit for different reasons.

EDIT: Trying Crunchyroll and it seems great. I can't find a clear list on the site (Probably just me being blind), But what are the benefits of the premium? I'm guessing HD streaming and quicker access to new releases?
