The traditional 2D animation in the second Splash Star ending is a thing of beauty. Why would you throw that out in favour of CG horror, Toei? Why would you do that?
You should tell her that. I think she really needs to hear it.

Shin Oonuma actually storyboarded the OP, ED, and first episode of Watamote, so it's not a Shinbo situation. I suspect he has less hands-on involvement in Prisma Illya.

On that note, I thank the female audience in Japan for Natsume, Kuroko no Basket and evidently all mecha anime for SEED onward or something. Though it seems like the SEED HD team is determined to up the male consumption for that series.

Yeah, might as well finish it now. BUt the last two Ep. was the dumbest, most anti-climatic ending I have ever seen in an Anime.
But again that is me, I have read some impressions that actually found it amusing. shaking my head.

I'm not a fan of the designs either, also I never saw Gurren Lagann so I'm not all that hyped. Still might give it a chance though, as long as it's not too crazy.

What I've seen of Star Driver looked nice should check the rest of it out.
Its fabulous. I only saw two episodes though.
Yeah, it was rubbish in the beginning, but it was one series that improved over time. I was like you until I went on to watch the rest.
I know it's not a particularly uncommon face, but Ryuuko is rockin' it pretty good there.
