I stumbled upon this while taking a break from wasting my time watching cute kitten videos. It just occurred to me that I don't remember much about this particular Lupin Series, I just remembered the OP/ED theme songs and not much in the plot department. I'm going to go ahead and add it to my anime viewing rotation, it's been a while since I've watched anything Lupin anyway so I might as well go for it.

I've been watching a lot of anime recently so I decided I would join in on the festivites here. I'll give some more in depth impressions later cause I'm feeling lazy and I need to watch the new episode of DxD. So for now some quick impressions:

Love Lab 01-02

This show is great. Loving all the characters so far and it's pretty rare to have a show where only two characters can carry a whole episode so splendidly.

Fresh! Precure

Quick first impressions: Precure is to Sentai as Nanoha is to Mecha.

C3-bu 01-02

Looks like they are going to keep using jazz for the gun fights. Nice.

The sexy cat with black fur is kuroka , ( koneko sister )

Triana is
one of the cheated powers issei will get afterwards allowing for some crazy fights.

In retrospect , i should have said
"BILINGUAL"
instead but that's a current season spoiler i believe.

This is the most 'slice of life' feeling slice of life I've watched since Honey and Clover. Kind of like how I feel about Genshiken, this seems to be doing the material a little better than even the manga did.

The squid gag is horrible. but aside from that the episode was excellent.

Seeing hagimura trying to react to a normal day without suda around was superb

And Hata is arguably the best paparazzi in anime EVER

Miho's past is revealed! I'm not surprised that her mother was the way she was, but I didn't expect that flashback scene to play out like that. I assumed Miho was going to be the one stuck in the tank and had to be rescued, not the other way around. Guess it makes sense since her discomfort towards Tankery didn't resemble post-traumatic stress. Anywhosit, the episode was all about dem new tanks and the team being all teamy. But I was a little bummed that all the hype for the next match was dashed when they didn't bother to show it. I've been feeling for a while now like this show's been really fast paced. It might have benefited from being a two-cour series, so I wonder if the production was on a tight budget.

the Vali team
in the final chapter. We need her fanservice to get hype for the next season.

Because I can't get enough of Umakoshi, I decided to take this one on (granted other comments prevented me from looking at Saint Seiya Omega)

Certainly isn't as colorful in comparison to some of his other designs, but we're dealing with a world going straight to hell, and boy he isn't Casshern'd about it. Ayuk yuk yuk yuk.

Anyway, Casshern apparently doesn't care for a little cheeky girl's feelings considering he just ripped out robo guts, which would be really disturbing if it was an actual human.

Good job killing Luna btw

Hearing that Nichijou has Take Five in it makes me want to see it now. It's always been on my list of stuff to check out eventually but now it's been moved up.

No Bilingual makes me sad, does Ise's master Tiamat appear in volume 4? I mostly want to see Balance Breaker as that is what this season will go over and a turn into the devil tournament to set up for Juggernaut Drive. Also Cao-Cao and Sairong making a cameo would make me very happy. Triana is FAR away right now. They still have to even start the tournament for that matter. Not to mention this is Ise's rise in power along with Kiba's past.

I liked Kaname from the get go, but I kinda like the Tsundere thing. FMP Sigma has some really good stuff, and you'll get to see my all time favorite mech in it!

The down side to Sigma, of course, is that it hasn't finished yet. Volume 19 has to come out like, sometime this year or next, I guess.

I really liked The Second Raid, and if I'd have to state what Sigma lacks in comparison to that, it'd only be production values. Sigma doesn't have TSR's beautiful colors and awesome sound track and in-motion sexy mecha.

But it does have an interesting plot line that explains the motivations of several key characters in a way that, upon rewatching the series, makes you look at them differently. It's also where Leonard gets to shine.

Kaname is great. Late in the FMP! novels I almost started to hate her, but after letting stuff play out and I gained a newfound respect for the character.

FMP! is awesome. AWESOME.

The main problem with TSR is the excessive srs bsns . People were conditioned to look out for comedy in FMP and the first few episodes actually had that but it then suddenly goes in the complete opposite direction and turns into a serious action series.

i don't think tiamat appear in Vol 4 ..
they don't meet until the mountain training.

Well i guess this season balance breaker for everyone concerned is still something to look forward to.

Wow this show is a joy to watch. It was incredibly touching at the end and hit pretty close to home for me personally. Definitely on of my favorite shows this season.

There's way too much shit not being explained. I'm waiting the whole episode to find out why Humbert killed the villagers, then the guy is like "u can find out later, lol". This is an ongoing LN, so we'll pretty much never find out. The dude isn't exactly sympathetic either, even if he "did what he had to". He could be less of an asshole about it, so that's really making me consider dropping this if he sticks around the whole time.

And how is he any more "immortal" than the rest of mankind?

Episode was pretty ok, new tsundere imouto character, some character development for Chihaya, and some more :chet-service. The imouto was annoying at first, but she turned out okay by the end of the episode, very cute and tsundere.

ISE 300 would be perfect, maybe a OVA in the blu-rays, the pool episode its almost a fact but the film I dont know.

And 5 more episodes and we will have the SYD second season complete :p

This is a perfect adaptation of the source material, and in many ways a vast improvement. The ending in particular is just downright hilarious, sobering, and uncomfortable all at the same time.

I'm having a really tough time deciding between this, Love Lab, or NISIO NISIO NISIO S2 as my favorite shows this season.

My only complaint with Kaname pre-
Sophia
during Sigma is that she gets sidelined something fierce. I hope in the books they address that.

I felt like there was still some good comedy at the end, though. Like
Kaname beating the shit out of Sousuke instead of jumping into his arms, and Sousuke's speech to Gates before thrashing him.
Gates having to do the comedy for the whole cast during the middle was probably hard, but on the other hand, I feel like the serious tone wasn't hurt, either.

We can all agree though, that Nami = worst girl. The real debate is
Mao the Best Girl, or the Bestest Girl?
