even when she falters and nearly gets the whole team killed. I like a girl who'll take a beating in the name of character depth. Mana-haters need to wise up.
As expected, Ace appears only in the final moments, to save the team and introduce herself. The preview shows some more interesting stuff: Ace's stock footage looks amazing, mature; and the girl in the red clothes is probably Ace's civilian form, making her a new character, not Ange like I had expected. New enemies also appear.
Watch it already.

Yep, that was an episode of Muromi-san. The end of a year seems a fitting way to end this kind of series, inasmuch as it feels like an ending but nothing's actually...ending. More series of this would always be welcome. One can never really have enough Tamura Yukari speaking Hakata-ben.
Also appreciated the decision to end with the OP, since it's one of the best things about the show (and that's a compliment to the OP, not an insult to the rest of the show). Worked really nicely and felt like a good note for the show to go out on.

Good lord, talk about deadbeat parenting! I don't care if your kids are 15 or whatever, you do not leave your kids to fend for themselves on Christmas while you go off and frolic in Germany! smh...
Super Game of Life? Mugi must be a pretty hardcore retro gamer to trade in a trip to Hawaii for that prize! I'm not even joking, that's literally a game for the Super Famicom.
Ok, the fireworks was one thing, but I'm just going to assume those kids are drinking non-alcoholic champagne and leave it at that.
O_O WELP! Time to add Solid Snake and Fairy Tail's Juvia Loxar to the mix because this teacher is a stealth artist and is single to the point of mental instability.
Insert super-happy-fun-Christmas antics to this episode, and we have...well one hell of a Christmas episode.

Bleach 21 - 22 (rewatch, via NeonAlley and the special Pornograffitti ad about anime expo was nice, will never forget Anima rossa (one of the best bleach op)
Favorite moment in the episode. I hadnt realized before the Hisagi had a speaking line this early and Kira even made an appearance...the little things. Somehow everything feels kind of epic here with the entry to the soul society and trying to breach the wall in the Rukon district...I hope someday that Kubo will return to being a master storyteller.

Not really satisfied with the ending but I did like the callback from the first episode.
Overall, this was a great show. I was thoroughly entertained by both the comedy in almost every episode and all the likeable characters introduced in the series (Alciel is the definition of a show stealer). Out of the shows I've watched this season, HMS would honestly be my favorite of Spring.
And one last thing to get off my chest.
Throughout this entire season, I've always thought it was weird that people (not necessarily here) argued over who should be with Maou - Chi or Emi. I know about how extreme shipping can be, but they're honestly better off paired together. Maou never really needed anyone else since the beginning he already had a capable husband in Alciel and (later on) had his hands full with a layabout son in Lucifer.
I'd totally be down for that.
