I had no idea what I was watching. Was instantly turned off when I started the first season but my friend begged me to attend this premier so I did. Absolute girl fandom and screams throughout the movie. These girls were squealing and crying at the top of their lungs the entire movie. The the concert came on with Angela or whatever they are called. Pretty entertaining. Made up for the lackluster movie I just saw. The movie felt like three episodes mashed together.

They're doing a marathon from 11:30 to 12:30 eastern, and then the new episode. So 2 more hours. They didn't specify time zone, but it always tends to be eastern for adult swim

I just want exclusivity to go away for simulcasts. I still want there to be competition amongst services.
I'm pretty surprised at how Funimation is picking up the home video rights to most of their simulcasts. I guess they're adapting a bit of Sentai's strategy. Maybe they just didn't want to lose out on tons of properties like last season (where Sentai grabbed the home video rights for around 13 new shows).

It's really annoying, especially after they went after the fansubbers a couple of years ago, that they aren't doing any sort of simulcast. And then when Daisuki was starting up with TMS involved, I thought for sure that would be an avenue for Conan, but instead nothing has happened. The series has been so mismanaged in the US.

Seriously I hope Aldnoah Zero attempts to explain why that character is so fucking dandere, and I really hope it isn't because it's as simple as that. I hope his family experimented on him until he lost all emotions besides one: his intense love for his sister.

Barakamon Episode 1:
Well then, so far this has been the most charming and enjoyable of the Summer debut episodes. It has an interesting premise and in spite of some actions a fairly likeable older skewing protagonist. Still, the greatest strength of this show is clearly the chemistry Handa and that little girl. I should hate her with every fiber of my being, yet I don't, in fact, she is rather enjoyable, very odd but very keen none the less.

Cloud Nine is amazing ED song, I love all three of their voices and Haruicchi had a part where he led it seemed like. I need the full version now, and their outfits are lovely.
For the episode the match was great for Kawakami doing what I always wanted them to do with his character. Pretty intense

I really hope TMS one day learns that Funimation is ruining the Detective Conan franchise and at the very least give someone else streaming rights. Hopefully CR getting the One Piece rights will give way to other right acquisitions.
