animegaf, im dissapointed yall didnt tell me akame ga kill is actually good, that crunchyroll cover kinda almost made me skip it, i didnt even know it was a manga!
You can, but you can't set them in your own page to English, just the weeb-ass romanji. So, like, if I'm in my list and there's an entry that I don't remember that being the japanese name for, then I have to google.
Then you've just given yourself away as the chameleonian. Though as long as your favorite character isn't the one that punches the guy the whole time it's all good. Because her character development was gone by the second season and she reversed to being horrible. If you like the sanji clone and the katana girl though I can't fault you.
reading that everyone likes Barakamon I guess that I should start to watch it, I'll probably wait for this season to end. I'd also prefer if the anime just ended with this season, without following the manga which seems like it's still ongoing.
Well I can tell immediately what that girl is gonna be like and its already aggravating me.
Maybe at least they can make her like Niko from Accel World. that would be kind of hilarious.
I have been currently watching it and finding it better so far too. Of course it's still fresh to me so I'm still not worn out by its comedy style and imouto scenes have been completely awful so that may make me hate the series by the time it ends.
Watch rebuild first just like I did. It's what all the cool chaps are doing. Also I don't think there are any legal options for streaming unfortunately.
Not much to say about this one. Really beautiful episode. Just an old guy teaching some kids about nature, life, and the things we take for granted. Let nature run its course, don't interfere too much and things will be alright, for the most part.
It's also becoming increasingly clear that humans are most likely the cause of the Raaja coming to be. We're responsible for most, if not all of the damage the earth has accrued.
The ending song for this episode is another good one. Really beautiful.
Edit: ^ I sometimes feel as if I'm the only one on the planet who still hasn't seen all of Cowboy Bebop yet.
I've seen several episodes out of order over the years, but I've just never watched it from beginning to end for some reason. The episode I've seen the most is the one with the guy who was experimented on. He had an umbrella and the episode took place mostly at like a theme park. Pretty sad episode.
It's like every time Cowboy Bebop is on, it's always that episode I see.
I wonder what the issue was for Funi with 3.33. At least I got to see it in the theatrical run earlier this year.
Though I do like the Rebuild movies, I would agree with Cajun here, and seek out the original series + End of Evangelion first. If for no other reason than to have a basis for comparison with the Rebuild works.
So we get two new club members and a bunch, rather shallow, drama while upping the comedy a bit more. I'm hoping to see more of Arata soon as he's kinda the most interesting character so far.
It still hasn't really grabbed me strongly unfortunately. That may not happen before an exciting tournament happens.
Really not a fan of this art style as far as faces are concerned. It's not s.th. on the level of Clannad but the eyes, mouths and blush-streaks make the characters look rather derpy here and there.
Yeah the Karuta events are where it really took off for me. Some drama was ok but I was really into the sport. They manage to keep it pretty exciting, though it does drag a bit later on.
So this is the crazy hair cutting and fetish edgy anime that wonzo hyping years ago, its just as weird as advertised.
The show opened with the hair cutting maniac protag go into this girl house that have insanely long hair, he suddenly fall in love with this girl and wishing can cut the girl's hair, the feeling is mutual because the girl also want her cursed hair cut.. the premise is that weird.
The show also have some oddly nicely animated scene such as
As picture above suggest, the show plot quickly revealing the plot about psychotic killer and their weird weapon, just add even more fuel to the already silly premise. Like you may have already get the gist, this gonna edgy as fuck.
But you know what, this first episode is surprisingly very well directed.. despite the silly plot, dialogue, and scene.. somehow its have weight behind it, the directing seem holding each scene tightly and use some visual/camera language to ensure these scene not get ironically funny (but of course you can also grasp it this way) with nicely placed music too.
This last scene is rather sweet, with how its perfectly build up and executed although still twisted as hell, what a weird show.
Now I kinda wishing the same studio and director handling Akame Ga Kill instead White Fox.
This show and Dog and scissors are some of the most bizarre anime I have yet seen. Perhaps not coincidentally both contain scissors and can be just downright creepy at times.
I know what you mean. Normal, as far as just going with what the majority likes, is often boring and there are more intriguing things on the periphery. Such is where I like to lay my own head.
Qualifier tournament is over and yeh, that was pretty good actually. Watching Karuta is actually quite exciting, when they execute well on the presentation. Soundtrack is also quite nice. Liked the track playing when Atara checked his emails at the episode's ending.

I still dont really understand Karuta well but one thing this show does really well is building tension throughout the matches. Its gripping and gets you really invested. Music is lovely as well.
"I didn't fall in love! Yeah!" Kinda a bullshit way of getting out of that love triangle.
Our long international nightmare known as Precure Memory is finally over. Though the new ED isn't exactly great. But hey, it's bearable! Also got me to stick around for next episode's preview, and I have to say the concept of them
going into another territory to help other Precure
I should've known this was coming since the Celestial Maidens' CD was announced before the anime even begun, and as an idol episode of a non-idol anime, I enjoyed it. Momoko momentarily took the background, and the fight at the end, no big problems with it. The barrage of light arrows striking down the oni was kinda enjoyable. Though I'd also love to see Onihime as an idol. Turn this into a war of singers and I'll really feel like it's Koihime again.
Ikkitousen Dragon Destiny 01-03
Speaking of.
A new director, a new studio and a four year break in between have done quite a few things for this show, and surprisingly, a lot of them are positive. The animation doesn't look nearly as cheap, the show doesn't feel nearly as exploitative, and the narrative switching focus to those three from the Peach Garden has made the show feel more grounded, cuter, though not without its fights. I loved this trio in their Koihime incarnation - they were the main characters, even - and having Kannu be a main and Ryuubi being a simple book lover works. The animation isn't taking nearly as many shortcuts - or at least as many that I can spot - and the pacing feels better, too. And the opening finally fits with the show's tone!
The plot thread of "fighting against destiny" remains, and the dragon spirits are being expanded on. Like Hakufu herself said in the preview, I'm surprised it took them three episodes to show the main heroine, but it was a welcome diversion. The opening fight with Ryomou was also pretty competently directed. There's going to be more of the show under this team than the first season, and so far it looks like most of the kinks have been worked out. I hope it can keep this up.
that's the main reason I go to that one as it's a 15 min drive from where I live... so while it's not huge, it still gets me a chance to hang out with other anime fans as well as meet some people from companies like funimation.

I've never seen Full Metal Panic. Is this a problem? Also, what am I looking for, there are so many sets on Amazon.... Full Metal Panic Complete Series, Second Raid, FUMOFFU Complete Series....

you are looking at 3 different seasons
season 1 fmp complete series
season 1.5/spin off fumoffu
and season 2 second raid.
while I enjoyed FMP quite a bit it's not for everyone... it's often not enough of a mech show for mech fans, and not enough of a comedy for comedy fans, you have to enjoy both in order to truly enjoy FMP.
