Yami to Boushi to Hon no Tabibito 03
For a piece of literature to be entertaining and engaging you need to have a coherent story, likable characters, an interesting setting or backdrop and and some conflict that pushes the story forward. Yamibo has none of this.
I know none of the characters names by the end of three episodes and have to look them up while writing this. The story sequences seem to be attempting something similar to Baccano! by telling different parts of the story in a non chronological order. However in Baccano! we can link these stories together with shared characters and plot devices so that it all comes together to make some sense by the end of each episode. Yamibo fails to do this and it is a constant struggle trying to figure out what the hell is going on.
I wish I could forget what I have started. This is boring and uninteresting with no sight of it getting any better.
Does Mike keep giving me anime with animal abuse?
