Summer Game Fest Partner lineup confirmed

Only notable absence is Nintendo to me.

Looking good. Still plenty of tickets at my local imax as well so I think I'm going to take off work and watch live.

Does anyone know the date for this? Also, Netflix is there which is interesting I guess.

Devolver Digital will probably steal the show. Their games always seem to appeal to me.

I just want to know what amazing band is playing the show. Keighley always delivers, but even he is going to struggle to top Imagine Dragonz.

Team Bloober.
The fear is strong
Exactly what I was thinking

People will get their Silent Hill

Just not the one that they are looking for

There is no singular date for what is being referred to here. Basically, it's a Summer long series of events with one show in particular called Summer Games Fest, hosted by Geoff Keighley. It basically all kicks off this Thursday when the PlayStation State of Play hits.

This website will tell you what events are happening and when. The list will be expanded on as time goes by.

Yea looks like the SIlent Hill 2 remake could be officially announced.
I wonder if we'll also see the new Silent Hill at this week's SoP.

How much of these are actually "part" of Summer Game Fest and not just things he's claiming are part of it because they're happening in June? Because last year's Summer Game Fest was incredibly underwhelming

No Nintendo sux. I guess the only thing I'm watching is Xbox/Bethesda and maybe State of Play.

I don't follow this stuff as much as most of this board does, but is this basically taking the place of E3 this year since E3 was cancelled?

Also, does anyone know why E3 was cancelled? Covid restrictions are basically nonexistent at this point.

Hyped for whatever my man Geoff will deliver as always. Hopefully Atlus is more than just Soul Hackers 2, but probably just that. Capcom and Square Enix please.

Here's a preview for Nintendo's future line-up, more ports from older systems that you didn't want, at a higher price(PLEASE be EXCITED!), some indie games that wouldn't get a second look because they're cheaper on steam or mobile ports.

All the things you want to see, maybe about 5 minutes of gameplay with mostly boring interview shit, still not solid date on any of the major projects.

Bloober is probably there for gameplay reveal of Layers of Fear 3 that was announced to come out this year, which moat likely explains Konami absence.

People talking about how X, Y or Z isn't on the list.
will feature events, activities and updates for fans from more than 30 partners, with more to be announced.

KojiPro won't be listed because Kojima will be a special super secret guest on the kickoff stream on June 9th. No one will ever see it coming. 🤫

That's the brilliance of Summer Game Fest. Geoff can just sit back and wait for studios to do their own stuff and then just jump in and shout, "um.... yeah, that's part of Game Fest. You're welcome"

Hopefully it has Masahiro Ito designs and a Yamaoka soundtrack. I have a feeling that Konami hired bloober to start cranking out shitty silent hills

Capcom bringing Dragon's Dogma 2 baby. Also maybe a trailer for all those next gen patches for the recent RE games. Hope they release them on physical.

Netflix and Samsung Gaming Hub.

No joke, I'm interested to see what games they will show. Expecting trash, but they might surprise with shocking third party deals.
