I feel you deeply. Your feeling I feel deeply.

Part 9 confirmed best part.

If you use computers too much, your internet slows down.

At least thats my experience in my life. Internet is really fast at first but then it slows down.

As a kid, having to FIGURE OUT how to setup internet in my room nearly drove me to tears it was so frustrating.

That's not really how it works unless your ISP throttles you.

I'm gonna assume Fei.
IMO, it's obtuse and weird as shit, but to a point of being off-putting, and no characters have really stuck. It's too early to really judge it, but it might be my least favorite part.
Yeah, I haven't heard much about it other than it being not as good as the others. I haven't read it, but personally, it has my least favorite main character design of the series. I don't even remember his name. How far along is it?

Honestly to me I don't think coming out should be entirely necessary. Which isn't to say like I don't want people to be comfortable with who they are, I'm just so jaded (probably not the right word here) that it just doesn't seem like a big deal to me. I'm sure it makes things easier when looking for a partner but in my head I'm always like "Wouldn't it be like you never came out when you go somewhere people don't know you?" and you could just be like "I'm not into that/I'm totally into this".

Again this is mostly me thinking it shouldn't be necessary nowadays since it shouldn't matter to anyone who you like. If you feel you want to do it though go ahead as like Aaron says, it could make you feel much better about it.

I can agree with this. I don't find it a big deal since a lot of people are more open minded these days. It's definitely a problem when families or friends are super shitty homophobic people, but I'd like to assume that's not usually like case. For most people the situation should just be people telling their parents or friends they like penis or vagina more and that's it. This leads back to me just thinking "well, okay," for when most people want to come out. Most people are probably just scared of the unknown though and it bloats in their head to a gigantic fear since it takes some people a long time to come out. Also when you're away from family or friends, I'd think no one would give a shit about your preference. Unless you're in a backwards hick place where they might kill you because insanity.

God, every time I see one of these pictures I can't help but feel how much of an asshole you
probably
are. Like, good on you, and I'm not jealous, but jeez guy.

I'm probably an asshole, but just about video games and anime. I had 8 women at my disposal, I'm not NOT going to take photos reinforcing the fact that I'm the only guy.

I just really like taking horrible photos. I laughed way too much taking these. Does this really look like a guy who takes these photos because he thinks he's cool? I love looking like an asshole. Fuck what other people think, it's really fun.

And the second day of Mara's and Croten's adventures have come to an end!

The day was a more regular one, as both adventurers had learned from their mistakes in the past. Aside from one mistake, at least. The duo had not yet learned the perils of digging up graves might bring, so they opted to do so again in a different area. The grave blew up and everyone died. The end.

After the host reloaded, the Duo continued to fight skeletons, zombie dogs, orcs and all kinds of creatures in the quest for more loot! Main Quest and for the greater good you say? All secondary next to the quest for glory and better equipment! As they fought more and more enemies, their powers grew, as did their tactical abilities. Soon, they would defeat even the strongest of foes! In an act of revenge, they even went back to the Zombie that had killed Mara and the dog in day 1 and despite being underleveled, destroyed it with relative ease. The town was safe again....or was it?

While not much might have happened, we saw a change in the Duo, namely the shocking revelation that they were not heroes at all! We quickly learned that Croten's desire for loot and exp far outweighed his sense of morality, as he opted to kill a helpless orc that was weeping for the loss of his brother. Mara followed his brother into battle and dug up the corpse of the younger orc and they took the equipment, as they looked over the corpse of two orcs. This might have had an effect on their morality however, as soon after they decided to help a citizen who had intentionally put himself in between a zombie filled forest. As they escorted the fellow, who would not stick close, stay still or follow orders, they wondered why they even did this. At the end of their quest, they decided never to do that again.

Mara went a different route, though one not any less villainous. Mara was a mage and realized quickly that spell books necessary to grow as a mage were ludicrously expensive. You'd often merely find two dozen coins after a fierce battle, yet shopkeepers would ask thousands of coins for single books. Mara was outraged, thinking this is little more than a way to scam mages out of their money. He had not the money to buy a single book, let alone multiple. So he meditated, trying to figure a way to make more money and buy spells.

And suddenly, he realized he was standing in the middle of some kind of swamp, deep, deep inside a hole. In front of him was a moist, naruto-headband wearing weeb, who would tell him: "I will grant you my powers. Use them as you see fit. Also Naruto!"

These words were not lost on Mara. He channeled into the powers of the mysterious one named Woolie and the Woolie guided his hand. He scourged the city, stealing everything that was not stuck to a wall whenever people looked away and then proceeded to return to the people from whom he stole and sell them their belongings back. Soon enough, Mara had scammed the city's people out of all their money and had more than enough to buy the spells he wanted. He would even share the wealth with his Brother Croten.

As Mara would walk away with the money and items in hand and come across his brother soaked in the blood of the innocents, he thought to himself:
"Man, I guess crime does pay."

END OF DAY 2.

His name is a mild spoiler. It's a monthly series, so just as an estimate, Steel Ball Run ran from 2004 - 2011, and JoJolion started in May 2011, so it'll probably end in 2018.

So around 3 more years, then. Do you know how well it's doing? By the way, I just remembered his name.

You're the heroes the town doesn't deserve and doesn't need.
If google ever gets off their ass. Also if the isps don't block it somehow.

Yeah, google plz do the thing. Although the US government is doing some things, like changing the bandwidth to be called broadband.

Those puppies killed me. Teacup dogs are like little spheres of adorable.

Go at your own speed. I figured it was gonna come out sooner or later so I might as well get ahead of it and tell her personally before random pics of me mackin' on some dude show up on the internet. I fully support you guys doing it, though, shit is freeing as hell.

Also, this wasn't one day of realization, I've known on some level for years and finally came to terms with it about a month ago. Alcohol was just the final push to come out to my best friend, then figured I might as well get it done with.

Real GAF
the one person I ever told outside of this thread was my best friend. When we were around 13 we went on a camping trip and the topic of who we liked came up, as it tends to do when you're kids. I usually lied when it came up but this time it was just me and him instead a group so I told him the truth. I wasn't attracted to him and I was just a kid so it wasn't like I tried putting any moves on him but he freaked out and didn't talk to me again. I don't hold any anger towards him any more, It was probably just because we were young and where we lived was not very accepting but It really fucked me up for a while. I know it has to come out at some point but it certainly put up a wall for me that I'm still working on getting over.

Wow, that's terrible. If that happened to me as a teenager that young I'd have been really upset too. The people you know should hopefully be accepting regardless of their own opinions.

I don't trust those fuckwits to do anything but ruin everything.

it's fine! They did some amazing things, remember the time they tried to control the internet? That was fun.

Fuck, man. I'm glad you moved past it, but he did a terrible thing to you.
He was in puberty, and scared and homophobic, much like many teenagers, especially in those areas, are. It's understandable he would do such a thing(though not really excusable). That's still a damn shame that he would do that to you, and that it would have such an effect. I'm sorry, man.

So sorry to hear that man! Stay strong and go your own way! I've faced homophobia before I even knew, people here hate anyone even slightly flamboyant out of fear of their gayness, but I've never faced anything like that and I doubt I will. People fucking suck.
Just go at your own pace. you'll get comfortable and figure it out eventually.

thanks for the kind words, I'll work everything out eventually
That's unfortunate.
That is pretty much how I look at it now, just the wrong circumstances at the wrong time

Yeah, it was fun. So much fun i don't want them to look at laws regarding technology for the rest of their crusty old lives.

They should really get some younger people or at least people who know what they are doing if they want to tackle the topic of technology.

I'm a rogue and Mara is a Mage

Nice. I learned of the existence of shadowblades, took away witchcraft and leech, added charisma and backstab, and was set 4 lyfe. Sneaking in that game is so fucking dumb and I love it.
There really needs to be more mage-rouges in games. Same with wind magic. That's literally the sickest possible combination, yet it never shows up.
