Jesus Louisus is that Chapter 7 "boss fight" one of the most clunky segments of video games.

That game is a downward spiral in quality after Chapter 1. That mission was the peak of the game.
Yep, the level Kate has both the best moment in the game though, followed immediately by the worst part of the game

From what I've discovered, Chapter 7 is the only chapter where "fighting" is necessary to progress so far. And even then I have an inkling that the two areas where I was forced to COMBAT TIME can be superseded somehow...
