Lodging is easy, because you don't have to do anything but supervise civilians. That's it. On deployments, you have to make arrangements for rooming, but that's an excel worksheet worth of work.
Fitness is another job, where you don't have a lot of work to do. Just supervise civilians, counts heads, and occasionally (frequently) put in work orders for broken items. Boom.
Hell, with all the civilians running the diner hall, Food is pretty easy too.

In the later levels, they apparently have some text which breaks immersion. I would have love to play Toad Treasure Trackers with out the Gamepad text bullshit.

I liked some of the silly minigame stuff from 3D worlds that involved blowing on the mic.
