Oh yeah, I got too hype to notice that. The only bad thing is you can't use the PS button but at least they patched in the ability to use it wirelessly. Just make sure your PS4 is off while you use it otherwise goodbye wallet

While I agree, I do think Snake now does sound appropriate, if you compare MGS5 Snake to the regular Japanese VA of Snake, who has been the same all through the series, they match up pretty closely now.
Hayter's work in Peace Walker wasn't great, I love that voice and I appreciate everything he did in regards to help make Twin Snakes stay consistent by cutting his own paycheck to get more of the cast on board back then.
But I don't want the sensation of a sore throat everytime I hear him talk, which is what it was like in PW, it was rough in MGS4 but it made sense with Old Snake.
Keifer sounds like a manlier version of MGS1 Snake, which I think sounds about right, even if that change is a bit late in the series.

They all have pretty unique styles of themes, but to me atleast they are pretty good modern Kamen Rider series .

Since you mentioned Fate/Zero (really liked it, though it was pretty flawed towards the end), do you know how the new Fate/Stay anime is? I've heard the first Fate/Stay was pretty meh, so haven't bothered trying either yet. (I know Urobuchi isn't involved).

Well it needed to be set up for Fate/Stay Night, so Gen did the best that he could.
Since the animation team is UFOtable I'd say watch it. Their animations are orgasmic. Also they are adapting the UBW route which I can say is pretty hype and more action oriented.

*sigh* Having the worst day. Started playing PS3 while listening to the podcast, and I noticed my Dualshock 3 was getting really bad with the whole "pressing random buttons when the left analog stick is moved" thing (which is a known problem with DS3s). So I decided eh, why not try to open it up and fix it.
Big fucking mistake. Long story short I wasted five hours working on the damn thing only to break it even worse because I'm just fucking terrible at things, and now it's useless. I mean I actually did fix the "random buttons" problem, but at the same time I messed up the Circle button. Then in trying to fix that I messed up the L2 button and now it can't be fixed.
So now I don't know what I'm going to do. Fuck everything. =/

EDIT: Well I have my fightpad, but that does me no good for 90% of my games.
Yeah it's a known issue. The problem is, Sony uses a little piece of foam to keep the circuit board in place. Over time, this foam compresses and the space between the buttons and the board lessens, which leads to the problem. It's a terrible design.
Dang, If I had a PS3 I'd send you one.

Alright, just went through the tutorial in the Xrd demo...I think I'm gonna like this game a lot, especially since many of these mechanics are universal and the game is not as demanding on character specific mechanics like with BlazBlue. Didn't do too bad executing commands with the PS4 controller. I guess I'll manage without a fight stick until I buy a PS4 one or Arcsys patches in PS3 stick support (not likely, though).
Also it looks fucking gorgeous in motion, but that's just stating the obvious.
