Okay, yeah I give up. I've wasted my entire day on this damn controller. I thought I had it fixed but now none of the buttons respond unless you jam down on them really hard. Which pretty much makes it useless.

Should have paid attention to that little voice in the back of my head that says "Remember, every time you try to fix something, you only make it worse. Remember that speck of dust that got behind your PSP screen and you ruined the whole thing trying to get it out?" Gah. And Dualshock 3s are still way more expensive than they should be, nearly 10 years later. Shouldn't be surprised though. This IS Sony, who were still selling PS1 memory cards for $25 in 2006.

DS3s are a piece of crap. I'd say go the extra mile and invest in a DS4 when you can afford it.

The PSP is a pretty simple story. Tried to get dust out, more dust got in. Ended up scratching up the inside of the screen, and then...well, I don't want to go into what happened after that. I'm not even sure how it's possible...anyway, yeah, whatever. I got a new (used) PSP a couple years later anyway and it's still going strong.
