I like the Berserk opening way more than I should. The super high pitched twangs in the real version are awesome.
Oh. Really? I thought you were joking about that I should watch it. I know Season 2 is garbage, but I guess I could just plonk it on the end of my to-watch list.

I've been trying to get Xiraiya to watch it for years but he refuses. Such a shame.
Sadly the anime is so old at this point I think it'd only work if it got a reboot.

Yuyu was the first manga I ever read. Still have never seen an episode of the anime.
You know what I hate that I love? The first SAO OP and music in general.

In all seriousness though, all the the JoJo Openings are pretty much the same for me in terms of how good they are, Stand Proud just came to mind first.

I love part one of SAO that was fantastic. If we're talking about part two and the second season..thennnnn...its fucking garbage.
I've never watched a minute of Cardcaptors, but if I had to choose I'd say that English version is more hype.

I love the NEEDLESS OP more than I do the series itself. (Fun fact, Granrodeo also did all the Kuroko openings)

My tolerence for older anime is very low, mainly because I didn't like how anime looked alot of the time back then, Trigun was an exception because it hooked me immediately and was a little less offensive on the eyes, everything else like YuYu I'd catch randomly on Adult Swim made me just end up not wanting to watch it, I'd seen random episodes here and there.
I refused to watch Hunter X Hunter for years because nothing aside from Hisoka was "appealing" about it to me, so Beloved made me watch it with her, it was actually pretty damn good after awhile, but there are still a [lot of things I don't like about HxH.
The story however is pretty damn good, but I wouldn't have found it nearly as enjoyable if I had watched the older version.
Right before the anime became fucking terrible too.

I would consider its preference. The best example I could say why someone likes OP2 of CG more than OP1 is think about OP1 and 2 of Jojo and see why people like 2.
Now that's strategy.
I wish my Realtone cable worked so I could play Rocksmith since it's on sale. Oh well.
I still don't get what the hype is about that arc, Phantom Troupe were cool but I just can't stand Kurapika, I drifted off at one point when we were all watching that arc.

The difference here though is that all of JoJo's openings are objectively good in their own ways. Code Geass's second opening is sang by someone who is clearly tone deaf.
I despised him at the time and made it well aware as you remember but after understanding how the abilities in that series works I came to be more understanding of it.
