It'll just be Starstorm reskinned with heartsWolf can keep the land master, but if/when Lucas returns, It would be great if his Final Smash was PK love.

Isn't that already his up smash?Wolf can keep the land master, but if/when Lucas returns, It would be great if his Final Smash was PK love.
The annoying thing is that these all used unique animations. They took exactly as much effort to make as new moves would have. They just decided to copy Fox and Falco because of reasons.
They explain it in the trophy I think. Counter intelligence or something. How did Wolf even get a Landmaster? Is the Landmaster company just selling that shit to anyone?

Wolf isn't a clone, but they sure could've been more creative with his specials.
Blaster
Reflector
Sideways dash attack
Charging 360 degree dash attack
Yes yes, they're functionally different from Fox and Falco, but they're still based on their moves. It's like how Sakura's spinning kick, fireball, and uppercut are functionally different from Ken and Ryu's, but she's still considered a Shoto. Whereas a character like Guile feels much more unique because his projectile isn't a hadoken and his rising attack is a flip kick instead of an uppercut (not to mention he's a charge character, but that's not really applicable in this comparison).

You missed his point: that similar moves seem much more different when they have different animations (Guile) than when they don't (Sakura, Wolf). Bison wouldn't have made sense here.Honestly picking Guile to differentiate the characters of Street Fighter just shows why I hate that game. You could've said Bison and it would've made more sense since he's nothing like Ken or Ryu, but fundamentally outside of the fact guile is a charge character is moves are all practically similar to the shotos.
Because Wolf is from the same series as Fox and it leads to consistency. Why does Ike have a charging neutral special and a counter as his down special, same as Marth, but with new animations? Because of reasons?
Also Wolf's only playable appearance had him using guns, so a blaster makes total sense.
My bias makes me disagree, but Wolf is certainly one of the funnest characters in Brawl and especially Project M.
He will be missed

Wow. That's so true. I would have love to be able to press up and boom up smash, that was the quick smash for the nunchuck and Wiimote combination, what a missed opportunity. They really want you to buy that new 3ds lolYou can't change the d-pad controls, right? I was hoping to use Smash attacks with it, seeing that you could when using the Wiimote + Nunchuck in Brawl.

Is it October 3rd yet?
Is it October 3rd yet?
Also I like how Black Pit has his staff in his official art, yet only uses it for his final smash. The Sakurai Laziness (tm).
And his victory animation.

The Dark Pit Staff is truly the Ganondorf's sword of Smash 4.
At least Ganondorf's custom moves let him use the sword.
Though perhaps that could be analogous to the staff's FS appearance.
It only uses the sword for one attack. So the problem still persists. And the animation looks awkward anyway.
I'd say so, it seems appropriate. Plus the DPS is kinda lame looking, I always thought of the silver bow as DP's signature weapon. At least Ganondorf's custom moves let him use the sword.

Thanks guys!
Where on Mega Man's down-aerial is it a spike? Seems like it knocks the enemy up most of the time. And am I missing something about the Leaf Shield or is just kind of useless?
lol transplanting data from Melee being the cause of old Melee characters not coming back because it's hard to do, but Mr Samurai didn't you just say in another article that the majority of the characters are redone from scratch?
Pls.
Are most of you people who have the JP version living in Japan or have you imported because you simply cannot wait?
I'm only a casual Smash Bros. fan, but I'm pretty hyped for this game - I think I'm gonna get both versions.
In preparation, I've been playing Brawl and getting the Final Smash trophies. That, and this thread, has me pretty jazzed for Smash Bros. 4.

For ganondorf I beat classic mode w/ Link FIRST, which gave me falco, not ganondorf. Once I beat it w/ zelda it gave me ganondorf. This could be because I met two requirements at once w/ beating it w/ link first, but who knows.
The Dark Pit Staff is truly the Ganondorf's sword of Smash 4.
The easy way is that each character is unlocked after 10 multiplayer matches after the last.
So 10, 20, 30, all the way up to 120 for all 12.
The rest I unlocked just by playing single player content randomly, with the exception of bowser jr, who is unlocked by playing classic w/ bowser and beating it above lvl 7.
Ness: Finish 10 Versus matches, or beat Classic Mode with two characters
Falco: Finish 20 Versus matches, or beat Classic Mode with one character
Wario: Finish 30 Versus matches, or beat 100-Man Melee (unconfirmed)
Lucina: Finish 40 Versus matches, or beat Classic Mode with three Fire Emblem characters
Dark Pit: Finish 50 Versus matches, or beat Classic Mode with four characters
Dr. Mario: Finish 60 Versus matches, or beat Classic Mode with Mario
R.O.B.: Finish 70 Versus matches, or beat Classic Mode with Mr. Game & Watch
Ganondorf: Finish 80 Versus matches, or beat Classic Mode with a Zelda character
Mr. Game & Watch: Finish 90 Versus matches
Bowser Jr.: Finish 100 Versus matches, or beat Classic Mode with Bowser on 7.0 difficulty or higher
Duck Hunt: Finish 110 Versus matches, or beat Classic Mode eight times
Jigglypuff: Finish 120 Versus matches, or beat Classic Mode with custom moves enabled (unconfirmed)
Source is gamnesia.
For lucina, that's not true, I got it by beating classic mode w/ marth - I hadn't beaten it w/ robin/ike yet.
I think I got dark pit by beating classic mode w/ pit.

I definitely unlocked game and watch some other way, but I'm not sure how.
At least Ganondorf can use the sword as one of his custom moves.Ganondorf's sword is still the best unusable weapon.
