Is that the Smash logo hidden in the forest, in the little whole among the wooden boards there? And a Smash logo in the moon up there.

In reference to your other post: I don't see
Master Core... or even know what to look for. Any thing black and amorphous? What rock things?

Man, I dunno how to counter Megaman's missles as Yoshi. I keep blocking them, jumping over them, and rolling under them but there's so many that its like I'm Neo in the matrix dodging bullets.

If you don't think it looks like Ridley, you're not paying attention. It's pretty obvious that the map is a Ridley allusion (This time, it's Ridley with a space hat). And given that, it's pretty clear that he's playable. Why would Sakurai tease us like that, instead of just showing him directly?

I didn't see the one on wooden boards, but I assumed the smash logo on the moon was master core.
The flower's have Smash logos too, apparently.

I don't know if this happens with anyone else, but a lot of times when I'm doing 1 on 1 in For Glory and I go up against a Japanese player, they just quit on the menu screen before the match begins. This has happened to me 3 times in a row. They just quit once they see who I am. Of course, this doesn't happen all the time, but often enough for me to notice. Why do they keep quitting? :/

Probably looking for Japanese nicknames to avoid lag or something.

Some could be planning to leave the room anyway, and don't do it fast enough after their previous opponent leaves. So they see you just a moment before exiting.

It could also be that they expect higher lag because of the longer distance.

umm...I was just playing on Dream Land, and one time when the scene transitioned (it was the Castle Lololo form,) no platforms spawned. It was all empty space, and all four of us fell to our deaths. We respawned, the spawn-platforms ran out, and we all fell again. This happened in the closing seconds of the match, so I can't say how long this was going to last, but it didn't look like the scene was going to change anytime soon. That was a glitch, right? Has this happened to anyone else? I've never seen this before, and I play on Dream Land a lot.

I've always gotten button lag when I fight Japanese players, so I always leave when I see a name written in Japanese. I wish I can play them, but the lag is too much :(

They're probably doing the same.

That is probably it, but there have been plenty of times when I actually do fight a Japanese player and there's hardly any lag. Hell, I usually get more lag fighting people with English names.

The best thing you can do to improve is record the matches you lose (go to the last page of results and press Y) then look over then later to see what you did that got you hit and why. Look for things you did that worked and incorporate them more into your playstyle and find the things that failed miserably and either modify them or change them completely. Between matches, try and think of your opponent's playstyle as a puzzle and try to think of direct solutions to any problematic tactics they've been using on you (e.g. if they always use running attacks to catch you off guard, start shielding when you see them run towards you more often rather than trying to beat them to the punch if it wasn't working already :3 )

a) Auto-Reticule targets the pikmin because it's a really terrible special :p On the upside, you can use this odd behaviour to basically shut down his thrown pikmin game: it'll blast them out of their throw arc with surprising reliability.
b) It should reflect pikmin that are thrown, I've covered some Olimars with their own pikmin doing this. Just don't confuse his grab animation with a pikmin throw (he basically uses a pikmin to reach out and grab you) as that was catching me off guard for a bit :3

Thanks, I always wanted to see the entire map. I noticed...
...the smash-ball moon and two eyes in the whirlpool

Maybe this map could be related in some form to that Smash World mode in WiiU.
