Link being good makes me so very happy since I've been using him for as long as I can remember.
Can't wait to see his custom moves.
Link, Megaman and Samus are the characters with the most potential for referential custom moves, since their modular arsenals are such a strong focus of their games.
If Link gets Megaman-esque custom moves (no animation changes but a couple of new models), I'd like to see the following:
Up B - Spin Attack, Great Spin Attack (OoT - less distance, two levels of charge), Hurricane Spin (WW - greater emphasis on speed and horizontal movement)
Neutral B - Arrows, Bomb Arrows (TP - affects arc and distance along with adding flame damage and greater hitstun), Crossbow (LCT - fires a barrage of bolts with very little hitstun, can't charge. Though it'd look a little weird due to using the regular bow's animations, the problem could likely be circumvented through cleverly positioning the model.)
Side B - Gale Boomerang, Magic Boomerang (MC - either automatic homing or manual control), Nice Boomerang (ALBW - splits into three, likely with less range)
Down B - Bomb, Bombchu (OoT, travels in a horizontal path after being released), Powder Keg (MM - incredibly powerful, but slow and dangerous to the user by way of its AoE)
