Honestly anyone who's not a veteran, Ridley, Chorus Men, or Dixie would shock me massively. And hell, getting any of them would shock me too.

I don't think that's reaching at all. He's basically saying that it's coming, we just have no idea when. Presumably shortly before the launch in other regions.

I haven't been watching much of the streams, but have we learned anything more about Villager's Timber move? i.e., how long it takes to set up, how effective it is against lvl 9s, when good times to use it are, etc. It's a complex move, and I didn't see too many people exploring it in the E3 demo.

Anyone would shock me. We have all the characters, in my opinion.

But I'd love to see more!

Mewtwo and Ridley in particular would shock me. The former because I would like that (and my preference for things is inversely proportional to how likely they are). The latter for the same reason, plus already having near confirmation that he's just a boss.

Nothing too exotic there. I'm easily shocked.

It's a bit hard to say. It's a situational move. It's mostly useful for edgeguards, but Villager's bowling ball is faster than the tree, so I'm not sure if it's useful in a 1v1 setting.

I guess ForkBall had some success with it. Has a steep learning curve though.

Apparently the tree popping up once its been watered will do damage if it hits someone.

Man, seeing all the veterans rebalanced makes me damn excited for Ganondorf. He better not be shit this time around.

I actually agree with you. I even have SMAdvance4:SMB3 plugged into my ClassicDS. I've never played Link's Awakening or Oracle of Ages but I also want some light action games too. A lot of 3DS games I've seen aren't exactly public transit material. :p

3D Land is $10 off at $19.99 but I didn't have the kind of time to download it. I did it once for Monster Hunter. No more lol.

Wasn't Falco and Marth at least A tier? Shiek and Fox werent stellar, sure.. but I cant imagine them being bottom. The Captain is probably the only top-tier Melee vet I remember being total garbage in Brawl, although I have been out of the scene for like, 4 years.

The biggest use I've found so far is using the axe on other players once the tree has grown.

Ok so last thread. I don't want to clog up discussion here so if people keep asking just link them back here:
Fire Emblem talk lead to the implication and discussion of possible incest within the game.
This lead to a series of images implicating Robin as a paedophile as he can romance Lucina.
This made us go crazy and someone posted that bloody fetus from PT.
From this someone brought back up that delightful weta (giant, biting bug, native to New Zealand) gif from a few threads ago.
People quoting these lead to them appearing on every page leading to more craziness until mods destroyed many posts (removing the original page 300 and a little more in the process)
In the end though it seems only the fetus and weta discussions disappeared.

Alright, moving on.

I'm so excited there's a demo... I was honestly on the fence about whether or not I thought they would do one, but I think it's great that they did. I hope we get to try it out in NA soon.

Usually 20k is the stopping point, but for some reason the new thread was made after only 19300 posts in the last one. Not sure why the transition was made 700 posts short, but maybe it was due to the demo coming out.

Link seems quite fast and responsive now, almost on a level with Mario, so I'm guessing that is one thing that is helping. Link's moves are also strong, and his grapple for recovery etc. is much better.

I haven't played, but from watching I agree with Makai -- I like the new ledge game. It looks smooth and reasonable for the second person recovering to knock the first person off the ledge, and I think it's going to work out fine.
