All it needs in terms of KIU music is Boss Battle 1, Lighting Battle, Aurum Island, and Wrath of the Reset Bomb (if it's not in the 3DS version). I wouldn't mind seeing the Flight version of Dark Pit's theme as well.

Praying to Dark Sakurai will only get you Pseudo-Palutena and Slippy.

But both Mother 1 and 2 also are the 2 console titles of the series - for Famicom and SuperFami/SNES respectively. So... there's a chance. Even if it's not super likely.

There's always a chance, if even Punch-Out and MM2 get to have 3DS stages for whatever reason. It just feels like Magicant was being a small nod toward that compilation in particular, so I wouldn't bet on it.... But I'd never rule it out entirely. When we get playable Duck Hunt Dog, I readily accept that anything is possible.

It's enough to whet my appetite until about 1 day from now, when the game starts hitting the masses. But I'm right there with you, would be great to see some multiplayer with the other new characters.

We've found Squirtle and Ivysaur as well. And the Polar Bear trophy had a generic smash logo, not the Ice Climber eggplant for what it's worth.

To be fair 10,000 fake leakers all saying the same 3-4 characters won't magically make it true, but I do agree that we're for sure getting more characters either as DLC or with the WiiU version due to the various "...huh..." about the character layout and cuts that don't make sense.

Sakurai has this amazing ability to enrage and excite me at the same time. Sakurai has given me something I have always wanted (Little Mac), and something I never thought was possible (Duck Hunt Dog), and yet he still pisses me off (Wolf, Ice Climbers, Ganondorf, Mewtwo).

That list has a serious lack of The Reaper's Line of Sight and Dog's theme. That Burning Town would be amazing too if they have some space left.

This post is correct. Although, honestly, I'd switch out Wrath of the Reset Bomb for Dog's theme, just because it's so fun!

And Saturn, I'm actually not as big of a sakuraba fan as you'd think. He actually bothers me in how many of his songs sound alike across games. But when he really puts effort into stuff (like Kid Icarus and Dark Souls), he can make some really amazing stuff.

Yuzo Koshiro is my favorite artist on the album, actually. Aurum Island is my favorite song, I just think Lightning Battle works better for Smash.

I hope someone doesn't, and the characters can actually surprise us whenever Nintendo shows a trailer. Long after we've all given up hope.

Learning Datamined info is only fun to me if it's something that would have otherwise been a locked away secret forever, like the extra Brawl characters or Kraid in Prime or the debug stages in Melee. etc etc etc
