Magicant just seems like it'd fall in line with Gaur Plains and Boxing Rang in being cross-platform stages.
Opinion respected.
...Lies. Blant lies!
You have to rearrange the last row to be in chronological order, that's the order they're in.My really ugly rearrangement of the roster. It took me about ten minutes to finalize, so I don't know why the official placement is so arbitrary, as it stands.
As you can see, Mario characters comprise the entire top row, all the Fire Emblem characters are together, the NES characters are together, Pokémon are at the start of a row rather than in the middle of it, and dark pit is with the other Kid Icarus characters all while maintaining the same format.
I would also maybe swap ROB and Shulk just because it makes more sense for ROB to be next to Pac-Man, in my mind.
Did Sakurai really butcher the arrangement so badly just to keep Kirby in the middle?

The last row is unchanged, despite evidence that I tampered with it at one point. Unless you're not referring to the very bottom row with the 3rd party characters.
Eh, I just think Bowser Jr and the Koopalings are too popular to get cut next time. Same with Lucina.
Of FE characters I could only....maybe see Robin being replaced with the next customizable Tactician but even then I'm unsure.
Its weird, we are are to expect cuts next game, I don't see any characters that are likely to get cut anymore. In Brawl, you could see some semi-clones or Snake because of Konami but for Smash 4 everyone just seems unlikely to get cut imo except for Dr. Mario and Dark Pit...but Sakurai bias lol. (For Dark Pit.)
Anyone representing their own franchise and/or has a unique moveset won't get cut imo. So stuff like DH, LM, Villager, Shulk, etc would be safe. I don't see any third parties refusing next go around...I don't see any possible cuts next go around except like I said, Doc and DP.
We shall see. I eagerly await the next Smash and the next SmashGAF. D:
Besides: why bring back New Pork City if Lucas got canned and a majority of people didn't like the stage?

That's exactly why
Hasn't stopped the numerous other things left in smash.
Onett will probably be back. They seem to really like that stage and it's an easy port from Brawl.
Still not confident the Wii U version will get any Melee stages.Onett will probably be back. They seem to really like that stage and it's an easy port from Brawl. I think the WiiU will have a lot more stages, with a more Brawl style mix of retro and new stages
Besides: why bring back New Pork City if Lucas got canned and a majority of people didn't like the stage?
Have we started guessing who will be cut in the next smash?
I already know dark pit is at the top of the list for most.

Yea, I meant the second last
As for new MOTHER stages, here's my ideas (also I hope New Pork City wasn't cut just for the Ultimate Chimera, music, and memories ;_; )
MOTHER: The Mother's Day/Podunk Zoo
MOTHER 2/Earthbound: Winters
MOTHER 3: Tanetane Island (all drugged up version)
Unless Nintendo release more characters via DLC on the Wii U version release date (or do some stupid shit as obligating people to buy both versions to have all characters), yes, that is the final roster. So the leak is the final roster?
What's ROB's new final smash?

I'm more hyped for the awesome Find Mii music. I need a full version right now
I remember people saying this about brawl stages on the 3ds and here we areStill not confident the Wii U version will get any Melee stages.
I'm not sure if Little Mac precedes Duck Hunt, but otherwise that should be chronological. Now, why Sakurai has it arranged the way he does instead of like this is a theory I'd love to hear.
I still want Viridi as her own Smash character.
Alright, for the hell of it I'm compiling a list of 3DS stage music that I've identified so far. Feel free to let me know if I missed anything and I'll edit it in.

Originally, Sakurai gave the impression the 3DS version wasn't going to receive any Brawl stages, so something changed along the way:Why not? The 3DS has gotten a mix of Brawl and Melee stages, so it stands to reason the Wii U will, too.
http://www.nowgamer.com/news/1972435/super_smash_bros_the_difference_between_wii_u_3ds_versions.htmlAs a result of developing for two platforms, however, Sakurai suggested there are limitations, including the dream of levels from Super Smash Bros Brawl (from the Wii) appearing in the latest Super Smash Bros game.
"If we did do that," said Sakurai, "stuff that was on Wii would have to be altered to be put on a 3DS. Youd have to make some tweaks. Whether or not youd do that and still do those justice remains to be seen. Were going to have to look at that."

I still feel we'll get a mixture of new stages with past Brawl stages with the ration leaning higher to new stages.

I agree - mostly Brawl stages for the Wii U, with a couple Melee stages. I think Onett is likely, and perhaps Rainbow Cruise or Green Greens. My gut tells me Palutena's Temple has put the original Temple on ice.

Guys, Ice Climbers are out.
