Yea, adding a new move set to Alph and the Koopalings is probably the extent I'll go with customs (besides collecting them all). Not terribly interested in them unless one of them is absurdly broken for unlocking stuff (like beating Cruel Smash or something)

Eh, that's interesting but I'm not sure that buries Dixie Kong. If for some reason DLC characters aren't available for the other modes besides multiplayer, then they wouldn't have multiple trophies like the other playable characters.

Wow, I guess some people will never be happy. I mean this game is pure fan service in every sense and people are bawling like they're Bruce Wayne the night of his parents murder and Sakurai is Joe Chill. I mean, it looked like the sword extended the range of the warlock fist, ( just like custom moves are supposed to do) and it looks cool. Are people seriously delusional enough to think Ganon would ever have been retooled with his own moveset and as a sword user after two games of precedent? Also, why the need for another sword user? This game is already becoming Smash Calibur. Some people....

I guess he is too much of a clone to have anything worth re-modelling so no rename. Also maybe this version is Captain Falcon undercover as Blood Falcon or something...
To prevent modification and maintain system security (that is more important to Nintendo than your saves, especially given how the Wii and DS were devastated). Interestingly early 3DS cart saves had no encryption but the accessing the data off a cartridge is non-trivial.

I assume Nintendo's recent disclaimer that the release date for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U won't be announced during the Treehouse stream today puts the chance of that happening very close to zero percent. Or has there been any development on this, any hints or rumors?

G&W's custom version of Chef looks so much more useful than the vanilla version. It comes out a lot faster and horizontally. Hopefully custom moves bring a lot of depth to competitive smash!

Those Ganondorf customs are lazy IMO. I don't think I can sacrifice attack power for slightly more range and grafting the Sage sword to his fist just looks bad.
Do we have any clue what his other custom specials are?
