He uses difernt weopons then Pit in KI:U so its more of a shame that he is just a clone in Smash.

Well the 5 minute match can mostly be rendered locally while just keeping track of your opponents stats. Then the second half is much like online in a regular match, just with a condition.

Actually, taking this leak at face value, it makes perfect sense IF Sakurai wanted a Pikachu clone like Pichu was. You can't do double/triple characters like IC and CK on 3DS, so the next best thing is Emolga. Her design is much better than Pikachu's too. Just need to add in some squirrel like gliding and we set.
And if anyone has seen how DKJR moves in the arcade game, you know he won't be a clone. A rather unique choice even.

The weapons that Pit uses in Smash are not the ones that Pittoo uses in uprising is what I mean. They could of also just given him different uprising weapons anyway. All I am saying is that there are ways not to make him a clone.

DK Jr. would be cool if he was like a mix between DK and Diddy.
Like Diddy's bananas (maybe the original, unerfed Brawl version?) since he used those in Super Mario Kart, but DK's stronger, close-range attacks.
