My soundtest in the 3DS version says 114 songs. I haven't unlocked all the challenges, but I don't think I'm missing anything.
Close to four times as many.
The fact that it almost certainly has F-Zero GX music makes it superior regardless of number,

I'm psyched that 75m is returning. It's not a good Smash stage, but man do I love the idea. And Smash needs some solid DK arcade representation.
I just wish the stage would've been different on the first place. Of all the 4 DK stages, how they hell did they decide factory would be the best Smash stage? Barrel board is much more iconic and would've worked better, and the rivets stage would've been excellent. Could even have it to where when you clear all the rivets, you could play on a flat stage for a while when DK falls.

Huh? Red Captain Falcon still has the Blood Falcon emblem, just like he did in Brawl and Melee. It's only disappointing because he didn't get bumped up to an actual alternate costume.

any good tips on beating King Dedede. I swear he is the only one I havnen't beaten yet online. be it a skilled player or a novice I can't seem to figure him out. His side+B is the worst and his float is so cheap.

Yes! Definitely! Alph feels like he should have been an clone to me, but if Louie, the President, Brittany, and Charlie were all options that'd be perfect! ... Too bad the President and Charlie's body shapes are too wildly different than Olimar/Alph.
Oh, and they'd need to have actual voice clips for the Pikmin 3 characters; I know Olimar was quiet in Pikmin 1 and Louie being quiet's a character trait strong enough for Olimar to forget him on PNF-404, but it really bugs me how Alph doesn't make any sort of vocalization whatsoever.
Yes, please! Everything about Bowser in 3D World was awesome. It really cemented him as being a great character after Sticker Star did everything in its power to make him a generic beast. And now Smash is going back to forcing that image...

I don't know if I love you for doing that, because it's nigh-perfection, or if I hate you, because it hurts knowing that Nintendo's probably not going to do anything with the IP after Smash Bros. after the poor sales brought about by their worldwide lack of advertising. Like, all it really got was the Direct, and that's just preaching to a choir; Directs are meant for fans that'll probably get the game anyway, and you have to go out of your way to see them. What I'm getting at is: Wonderful 101 is a beautiful game that I fear Nintendo's going to forget about completely after they get their Trophy Box in SSB4U.
That still bugs me that Blood Falcon's gone. If Sakurai wasn't so set on Poppa Clonedorf, I'd really want Black Shadow to just take Ganondorf's moveset and for Ganondorf to get a new one that actually fits. But it's his "vision" for the game, and he won't budge for anyone... Ganondorf will always fight like a Sentai hero. Ridley will always be a boss. DK, Diddy, and Bowser will always be big, dumb beasts, and not in the endearing way DKC offers where DK's stupidity allows for amusing moments like being immune to hypnotizing or punching the moon into a volcano because why not. I'm talking about them just being bestial.
Same here... I really thought they would've given you a notification about something as big as that, but I don't know what the sound test is missing.
And another thing to keep in mind? The Direct specified that ALMOST every 3DS song is in the Wii U game. I doubt all 6 songs ripped straight from Kirby's Dream Land are going to make it in. So it's not just 323 new songs, it's even more than that!
It's all we F-Zero fans have these days. We get hyped for a little mention of F-Zero content. 3DS was lacking because it had not one, but two Mute City themes. Like we haven't heard that plenty of times already.

Oh, it seems there's a new Yoshi's Island Medley. We heard the Flower Garden part of it when Yoshi was revealed, but it also goes into the Music Box theme.
I honestly thought the first screen from DK Jr. was going to be a stage before I saw 75m. For all we know, it may well be. Arcade DK totally needs more love; it's why I wanted Pauline and DK Jr. in Mario Kart 8 before I realized that we're not even getting Diddy, Bowser Jr., or Birdo to make way for 14 copy-paste slots, or 16-17 with DLC (WHY?). However, in Smash, I still feel that Country's the one in need of more love; it's the bigger series nowadays. Either way, I think DK as a whole needs more representation. At least a 3rd character.

And honestly, with GX's soundtrack? I'd argue against subjectivity here.
Gotta keep pushing for that Wolf DLC. If they're remaking Mewtwo from scratch, they can still Frankenstein Wolf, Lucas, and Snake back into the game as DLC relatively early on... right? RIGHT? *Tears for days*
