lol, admittedly i dont read these forums enough so i didnt know.
You really dont know what NAH is even though youre a top tier stream monster is with unlimited access to live? Havent you seen the Team NAH tshirts? stay free lol.

Oh and about the jacket thing, damn I better only wear it at baller events since its super rare. Will it be there in time for Seasons Beatings?

It's like streams rarely even exist nowadays when I want them to. Most of the time they're on, I have something to do.

Well, if things go the way I want them to, before the end of this month. It's not one of those copy and pasted prints. The logos and everything is embroiled. The place I am having it done is very annoying so I have to be careful with my demands and stuff.

If you want. I can add more stuff instead of just your name. Like Freeturo. :lol

I'm finally starting to "master" Hakan a bit. Witht hat, I mean I can finally win some matches online :lol

He's so difficult but so rewarding to play with. I just don't understand why you would play with a Ken or Ryu. Everyone uses them and it seems so boring encountering dozens mirror matches.

I just saw that dude's Youtube page. He already gives himself an out - he says he'll post videos of his Juri when he's not using a Fightstick, and that he's a lot better with a Fightstick as opposed to pad. So if he sucks he'll just say he's using his pad, not the arcade stick.

I love the reasoning too - he said he doesn't want to post vids of his arcade stick Juri because then people will see the moves he "makes up" and rip them off.

Any Cody players have any good tips for frame traps? I've got his F.MP into LP trap down pretty good, and was wondering about some other tricks I could add to my arsenal.

I feel like I've really leveled up my Cody game. I've just got to constantly remind myself to be patient.

Close MP into C. FP is pretty baller. cancel the C.FP into EX Rocks if you get the counter hit then follow up with Ultra 2.

This is the kind of shit that wasnt acceptable in my era. you cant talk shit and then run away.
you DEFINATELY couldnt talk shit after losing then claim you werent fighting seriously.

Man I used U1 for a long time but U2 does a lot of damage, great range, works as an anti air to finish off the opponent and you can combo into it off of EX Rocks. Of course you can FADC into U1 but I feel U2 is far more viable in most match ups. Plus with U1 you pretty much need 3 Stocks to land it (EX Zonk) or at least two off of HK Ruffian. By using U2 you save all that EX meter for other shit like EX Rocks etc etc...

Just my opinion though, U1 isn't a bad ultra for him by any means.

After a CH F. MP I -think- you can do another F. MP into c.mp into whatever the hell you want. I dont know if that is the most optimal combo but it works if you're spamming f. mp. :p

Most of the time I'd jsut go for a follow up c.mp into whatever.

I'm not a Cody specialist or anything but I like to use him. Depending on how close you are after F.MP CH you can go into Close S.MP then C.MP > Criminal Upper or LK Ruffian Kick for untechable knockdown. I just used Iplaywinner's Guide on him. Didn't even know Close S.MP links into C.HP till I read it up or watched the video I can't remember.

Hi! I'm a dedicated Cody player so I got you on this one. You can follow up with just about anything after a f.mp counter hit. My personal preference without U2 stocked is to link cr fierce after a counter hit f. mp and then cancel into either mk ruffian for placement or criminal upper for more damage/better stun. If you have U2 stocked, counter hit f.mp to U2 is a easy 3 frame link, and will strike fear into the heart of any character. C HK after counter hit is okay, but honestly you want to go for the big damage, so my advice is practice linking cr fierce after the ch f.mp and you'll be much better off.

Also, f.mp can allow you to link st mp, which if you're execution is pretty solid, can link into cr fierce which does INCREDIBLE amounts of stun. A combo I like to use is f.mp into st. mp into cr fierce into HK ruffian FADC crack kick into ex criminal upper.

This combo is pretty much guaranteed to stun half the cast if you've hit them before hand, although it consists of 2 one frame links, they're not that hard once you get the timing. Although I don't plink which could possibly make it much easier.

Also, sorry about my tangent, I'm very excited when ever Cody is mentioned haha, anyways U2 is always the better Ultra. Like Haunts said, U1 is okay, but the damage is less than desirable when you combo into it and if you're playing Cody the right way which is fishing for counter hits, then U2 can be a real game changer, also it beats alot of crazy stuff.

Like for example, you can punish EX messiah FADC backdash with U2, you can also punish Guile's Flashkick FADC backdash as well along with some other characters.

So I'd say U2 is a much better option.

Hahaha I feel you man. Cody is just so stylish and a total blast to play, but I don't really see too many Cody players. Thanks for all the awesome tips guys. I gotta head back to the lab to work out my counter hit combos and to familiarize myself with U2.
