I really like Vega's style, and I think he has the best voice samples, but I don't know if I want to play two rushdown characters, since I'm not sure it covers my matchups.

The other charge character I'm looking at is Balrog, since he's got a very different playstyle than Dudley and I'll get some good experience from that perspective. At the same time, being a boxer specialist is kinda weird, and it's almost like betraying Duds.

Perfected a Vega with Dudley today (only in first round, second one was closer)

Apparently he thought his Vega was a gift from god or something. 2600 fights and 1400PP, great! I mean, I'm also pretty bad but at least I know it. Nothing worse than delusional scrubs!

Lol @ psn scrubs. So I finally log on for the first time this morning and I get about 5 different players that I demolish in the first round, then they taunt me in the second. Of course, I then continue demolishing them in the second round. I guess they thought that because I had low PP/BP I was gonna be free. The hate mail has never been sweeter.

I noticed that the PS3 sure does have a lot more loading and saving time than the 360 version. Also, it would appear that finding a green connection is pretty uncommon as well. :(

Install the game and get better internet ;) No problem finding green connections here.

I've noticed quite the opposite when it comes to loading between the 360 and PS3 version. I have the game installed on my PS3 though so that maybe why. I also have my PS3 wired up to my router and never find a shortage of green connections. As for the scrubs, I can't help you there. :lol

Yeah, I haven't installed it yet. It's just the saving after unlocking anything that's really noticeable after playing on Xbox for so long. I'll save it tonight once I get off work.

I'm using the same wired connection that I use for my Xbox. Hopefully it was just because players were scare during the morning.

Whenever I get around to it. I'm going to make a compilation video of my comebacks after being taunted. A lot of online people love taunting full screen, keep away, after a knockdown doing something they think is impressive or having a health lead. When I win I usually message them saying keep practicing those awesome taunts.

My new stick arrives tomorrow. Going to beat some ass!

I always msg back 'don't taunt until you know you're going to win!' - feels good to beat those idiots who start taunting the first fucking round.

So, my updated wishlist for Makoto in AE:

-Make U2 better. That shit needs to be like 15 frames faster to actually be a viable answer to fireballs. If they make it as fast as Abel's U1 then we're good.
-Make f+hk less unsafe on block.
-Shave a few frames off of forward dash.
-Make her backdash better. The whole special cancellable backdash thing is cute, but it doesn't keep her backdash from being shitacular.
-Shave some recovery frames off of karakusa and give it a couple more active frames.
-Make f+lp move her backwards.
-Improve cr.hk so it's not completely useless as an aa.

Because she doesn't have a move that moves her backwards except backdash/walking backwards, and f+lp is already useless as is. All her command normals either keep her in the same spot or move her forward.

My wishlist for Dudley:

  • Increase speed of short swing blow
  • Move hitbox forward for short swing blow
  • Increase juggle potential of LK short swing blow to JP1+ - Stun - Reset
  • Change Thunderbolt to reverse-SRK motion
  • Reduce recovery/increase speed on ducking(fixed by EX?)
  • reduce victory rose recovery(fixed?)

My wishlist for honda:
- Give him a counter
- Give him a teleport with no recovery and fixed position
- Give him an air throw
- Make C.LP a 1 framer
- Fix the size of his crossup to be the same as chun's neutral j. hk
- Make jesus chop have 3 frames of startup
- Add a megaman sprite on top of every headbutt animation
- Fierce HHS must fire 7 metsu hadokens with no damage reduction

A more realistic but still wishfull list(somewhat inspired in ST honda):
- Fix the startup of his sweep
- Make jesus chop a command move holding HP(he keeps his charge)
- Give him a useful ultra or fix his existing ultras
- Give buttslam some projectile invulnerability after the full invulnerability is gone(and maybe make its hitbox a tiny bit wider while falling)
- Make EX hands always go forwards, +5 on hit

What will happen(reality):
- Damage reduced

Must be nice using a top tier. It's ok, Dudley will have enough buffs in ae for the both of us.

Well, with that many bad matchups I would reconsider that "top tier" title. Also he loses badly against stupid runaway/crossups/fireball patterns. Finally, I'm part of the original vanilla honda "infinite sadness" train, not this new "honda is top tier" train and I miss his 140 damage moves :(

I actually got super street fighter 4 just recently. This is my first fighting game that I have actually gotten into. Me and my dad have been playing it alot. We were actually pretty evenly matched until I started learning some button combinations. He can't be arsed how to perform them so I am kicking his butt! I do want him to figure them out, it will be alot more fun when we can play on even ground.
