By this time in March 2008 both McCain and Obama had won their Primaries. Both races were 80%+ through delegate allocation. McCain had run previously for President, when RoveBush tried to destroy him with the illegitimate black child scandal. While Barack Obama had a significant national profile as well (and accompanying scrutiny).

Hillary has 58% of all pledged delegates thus far.

So you know, Bernie's got this in the bag.

New CNN/ORC poll
In Ohio, Trump holds 41% to Kasich's 35%, with Texas Sen. Ted Cruz in third at 15% and Rubio in fourth with 7%.

And in Florida, Trump holds 40% to Rubio's 24%, with Cruz at 19% and Kasich at 5%.
On the Democratic side, Clinton leads Sanders 63% to 33% in Ohio and 61% to 34% in Florida. About 7 in 10 voters in each state say they have definitely decided whom to support.

Lol, PoliGAF is... something else.
Many are noticeably butthurt. Others are overly optimistic. Both democratic candidates are going to have to fight for the nomination as it is right now.

I should go to sleep. It's 5:20am...

Hillary will have to fight a PR battle but that's it.

With Kasich rising, that's bad news for Trump.

Ohio was always expected to be difficult for Trump, even with this small lead in the poll I think he will lose.

The great battle is Florida and if Trump win will be huge news, the path for clinch the nomination will be much more easy.

Exit polling shits the bed again. When will people learn that they're just for shits and giggles and time-killing until the real results come out.

I still haven't worked out yet is Tesseract a troll yet

He hides some solid points in the absurdity of his posts so it's hard to say. Clinton's favorability and trustworthiness are definitely sore spots on her otherwise refined campaign. After 25 years of knowing Hillary, people don't trust her that much...

Michigan polls under counted Independent voters and also young (< 45) voters it looks like. Biggest reason for the switch.

E.g. the poll which had Clinton +21 had Independent voters at just 10%.

I go to sleep and Bernie actually won MI?

Wow.

Still got a LONG way to go to flip the delegate math, but that's a big narrative win for him.

The pollsters really flubbed that one

Someone really needs to create a thread showing the general election polls from 2011-early 2012 for that election just to show people how useless those things really are at this point.

I'm starting to get how the skewered poll movement got going on the right last election. They even got to Rove.

Sanders making the case for VP.

Doesn't look like he has a path to the nomination, but with this result who the hell knows.

Little Marco took a beating.

Nah, I don't think Sanders is even that interested in VP, nor would he be Hillary's choice.

At best, Sanders' success is making Hillary consider some more progressive VP candidates than she was originally. At worst, she doesn't care and is still going with Julian Castro.

If Rubio loses his home state is his political career over? That's pretty embarassing.

It's not over, but a Florida loss is a bad look for him.

Then again, the average voter's memory span seems to be measured in days, so maybe everyone will forget by the time he tries to run for governor in 2018.

There's no flipping at this point. Just a smaller win for Hillary, for better or for worse. There's no way Bernie can pull it out at this point, right?

It's not impossible. I was expecting Illinois to be his big "Oh shit!" surprise win moment, and I still think he'll take it. This is anecdotal as all hell, but college campuses here are Bernie to the absolute max. I don't know a single person voting for Hillary in the primary, even if I've been trying to get people to see reason and vote for her in the GE should Sanders lose.

Geez, not unbiased at all. DWS was willing to die for Hillary in that clip. Why was she so personally offended?

There's a crowd of older femenists that rightly or wrongly are willing to go down with the ship.

I get it. They see Hillary as the culmination of 50 years of hard fought work. Getting her into the White House is personal to them.

With Kasich rising, that's bad news for Trump.

Yep Kasich is playing a very good game but he really needs to break out soon. The establishment need to just agree to tell Rubio they'll give him VP and then stab him in the back, he needs removed by any means and his ego is not enough reason to give Trump the nomination.

Kasich has kept himself away from arguments and made himself respectable. Trump can't hit him effectively. Mind you I think Trump will probably just be ahead as Rubio's votes will be spread three way.

For the gop establishment, the key question is:

Should rubio drop out now to give Kasich a better shot at ohio?

I hope he doesn't. Kasich has a legit chance vs Hillary.
You could have just linked the video. It's youtube.

Sorry on my phone. No idea if blaze is bad or not which is why I said ignore.

Wow big non-cable networks Are really downplaying the Michigan upset. Trump gets all the coverage.

Also that DWS video is absolutely terrible. She needs to go!

Of course they are, all the fucking time they just cover Trump circus - Bernie is not good for ratings I guess. I expect even when Trump wraps up the nomination by March 16, they would still cover him more than the DemRace.
