Switch 2 Pre-Orders. Did you get one?

Ended up getting two.

Got in the line on Walmarts website. While waiting for that Target website had stock. I ordered there, but when paying there was an issue. No matter how many times it asked me to refresh I couldn't get it to load. Waited a few more minutes for the Walmart line and I tried to order there, but it also had an error when purchasing. Turns out my card thought it was fraudulent and since it was so late I had my notifications silenced and didn't notice. When I cleared that up thru a text they both processed at the same time. Got a confirmation and charge for both.

I do have a friend that didn't manage to get one last night that I am going to give my extra one to. I don't scalp.
 
MKW Bundle from Walmart last night, preorder held (no phantom cancellations so I think I'm good at this point)

Pro Controller and Bravely Default 2 from Amazon this morning.

Also had a bunch of extra Amazon credit I threw on to a preorder for DK Banaza to get that high price down quite a ways.

Locked in!
 
Got mine @ GS in-store. Whoever did their allocation analysis did a great job - by the time I walked out of there (about an hour after open) the entire line was in the store and looked like they'd have one for everybody with 2/3 left

Also, don't be the guy that trades in a system with 50+ people in the line behind you. Just give your $50 deposit and do that shit another day.
 
MKW Bundle from Target, sale was done by 9:03pm last night.

Very quick, a few "Something went wrong" messages, but the charge came through and so did my confirmation email.

Can't wait, I'm really happy
 
After 2 hours wait I finally secured a pre-order.

So I have 3 preordered now. Gonna keep the Gamestop store order for me, probably let my buddy buy the Target preorder, and might just cancel the Walmart order. This was the easiest preorder process yet for me.

Holy crap, your store got the most allocations I've seen by far! There were some stores that only got 45 units, mine got 85. You must be in a densely populated area.

Regardless, this has been one of the smoothest in-store preorders (for those that truly wanted one) I've ever seen.
 
Just got done at GS. Got the MKW bundle, camera, and a pro controller. My nephew got the MKW bundle and a cam.

Nintendo must have produced a shit load of these.
 
Tried today to get a second switch bundle . Best Buy was a complete shit show. Amazon invites only and I didn't get an invite .

So I am only counting on Walmart for now .

But man how can Best Buy be this shit is beyond me
 
In my rush to snag last night, I forgot to select express shipping (target) and now it seems I can't change it. Dumb, but I guess I'll have to wait a couple days after June 5. Anyone know how to change to express shipping for preorders from target?
 
Was at gamestop for almost 3 hours. #44 in line. Got there 40 minutes before they opened.

Only 2 registers with the manager there overseeing. But they didn't hand out any slips to people in line which sucks for the 79th person as they had 78 switch's.

Had 29 non bundles and 49 Mario karts bundles. Toys r us only had 30 switchs total 7 or 8 years ago
 
30th in line at Gamespot this morning, Mario Kart Bundle and Pro Controller secured for launch. They had at least 50 reservations available at my local store.
 
Got the Mario Kart bundle from GameStop. They opened at noon and still had 6 MK bundles and 4 of the standard consoles at 12:30 when I called to see if it was worth the 40 minute drive. Not sure how many were left after I secured my preorder.

When I tried to buy mine when it allowed me online Walmart it refused to let me use my credit card because my bank locked it down. I had 10 minutes to use my debt card instead which the timer was at 4 minutes when it finally worked. (And no block of any sort on that card) Had to call my bank this morning to turn my credit card back on.

Got one right as it went live on Target at 12:01 am. Went back in and snagged a physical copy of Mario Kart right after. Saw some reports of cancellations going out and was fully expecting one in my email this morning but both preorders still holding strong. I was tempted to head out to Gamestop to preorder for in store pick up and cancel the Target one but I can wait a day or two for shipping. Wouldn't even consider Walmart because for some reason they use Lasership/OnTrac in my area and if it's an expensive item, it's 100% getting stolen by LS/OT.
 
Everything was sold out online this morning, but I just got one by walking in to Gamestop. Here's hoping they actually have the stock to honor a late-ish preorder.
 
My Target preorder got canceled so headed out to GameStop, was 34 systems total. Poor place had one dude handling the entire preorders and register with a newb handling letting in 3 people at a time at the door. Got there at 10:30 am
And finally left at 2:30. Took forever the line em was insane. Over 80 people easily.

Was lucky to snag one of the 7 core systems. Preordered and traded in some shit and with promo paid off half the system and a screen protector. Good luck to everyone out there, feels to good to have an actual physical receipt that I got one guaranteed.

Managed to actually get the MK bundle preordered in-store at a local GameStop for midnight launch on 6/5. Walked in around 1:30 PM EST, no line at all. Say what you want about GameStop, but their in-store stock is the best way to get one of these apparently and they are loaded with stock it seems. Now it's time to cancel the online preorders.

Have you guys see the CDN prices for SWITCH 2 version of Kirby forgotten land and Tears of the kingdom ? Even Higher than Mario kart World....shocker.
