This is a pretty cool episode really. Both the fishing section and the latter section had some great animation albeit with some cg and still frames. The cg itself wasn't particularly bad, but it was iffy. Loved some of the facial art and animation we got this week though, and the action was pretty crazy too. Next week should be grand, looking forward to it.

Silica's eyes seem a bit too big. It makes her face look kinda creepy.

This one is great. I hope people start using it in place of the other one. It's shorter and more to the point.

I prefer the first one. Seeing the guys reaction never fails to make me bust a gut laughing.
I like the crowd element in the second one. The first gif looks like a reaction to a private conversation that went bad. The second gif is like a suicide in the middle of a packed thread.
So either one can be good in the right context.

It's almost like all of their animation budget was spent on Asuna's various poses, facial expressions and new outfit and when it's time for what could be a very exciting battle, most of it are just still shots and teeth grinding with sparks and flashes of light flying around here and there :| I just try to picture the action in my head. The last boss fight was much better, maybe next episode delivers.

I feel like I have a serious medical issue now ;_; I can bearly bring myself to watch other animes unless I can wash it down with a nice chilled tall glass of SAO. This last week, perhaps just busy with work, I accumulated all the anime aired this week so I could watch everything before SAO and end on a high note.
This can't be healty right?... RIGHT?!

EDIT: haven't watch anything the Saturday before last so I just saw th end of Oda Nobuna for instance. Even with top-rate anime like Kokoro Connect being satisfying, SAO was best served last... it was yummy too even if it wasn't the strongest entry.
GOT DAMN could Asuna raise any more death flags?! I worry for her future
It's a greate show and don't listen to the haters. SAO is really strange in that it's hardest haters are also part of its viewerbase so every week you have to hear very well constructed arguments of how bad the awesome episode you just enjoyed was
...I just desprately need validation so don't listen to me
