Not looked through the complete list, I was looking for a FOV tweak and a built in screen capture command not found one though
enter the console via ctrl+alt+tilde type help lists everything type a letter and press tab will list everything starting with that letter
the camera view works like
cmd (cyclecamera)
there's a couple of godmodes
cmd (godmode)
first time switches it on with just infinite life. run it again and you get infinite breach + dart
run again and it turns off

I'm not hating the game, but so far I am still fairly disappointed.
I know it wasn't going to be like the original Syndicate, but so far it's been even more linear than I had hoped. I was hoping to at least choose which missions to go on, or what paths to take, but as of now it's been almost exactly like a Call of Duty game in that it feels like I'm in a shooting gallery on rails.

Same, my buddy says it might be issues with xbox party chat. Me and my buddies could barely get 2 missions in last night. Totally unacceptable on EA's part when a closed system like the Xbox has issues like this at launch. This needs to be fixed ASAP.
man, i am loving the game. love the aesthetic (sp?). shooting feels great. fast paced and brutal. the guns feel better than any other game i can think of. the last game that had that title was rage. for pure gun porn this game surpasses that. the dart chip mechanic reminds me of fear. and that is a good thing. this is like fear's cyberpunk cousin that just happens to be sociopathic. game is tough as shit to me also. you better have a plan besides shoot and pray. great game. it's gonna take a lot to dethrone this as my shooter of the year. and it's only february, damn.

Enjoying the game a lot so far, both SP and co-op. PC performance is ace, and I was able to force some anti-aliasing via the Nvidia control panel.
My expectations were pretty chill to begin with, and I'm very much an aesthetic guy, so I'm fairly happy. As others said, it's not Deus Ex, but I don't think anyone expected that. They're only similar in general subject matter and appearance.
A hub system would have been amazing indeed, but I was only expecting a linear shooter to be honest.

There is a slider I think, but it doesn't really do enough IMO.

you do see yourself at a point, i think the idea was to put a face on the faceless corporate monster or something, I was surprised, i expected not to know ala never seeing the chiefs face in Halo
The game is getting very interesting praise from gaf, can't wait to try it out now I'm starting to get hyped. I'm in europe and origin says it'll unlock the 23th, anyone know if origin unlocks are at midnight or at some other arbitrary hour?
That's the perfect way to some it up. It reminds me a lot of Perfect Dark.

Tough, but designed to give you different ways to approach situations with your breaches and different guns.
I'd post screens but the money that was for replacing my monitor went on an engagement ring so am stuck gaming on my 8yr old 720p TV grrrrrrr
But it's nice, switching the blur off helps too.
So much wasted potential here.
Keep in mind I'm still very early on so maybe things change. But I think the tone has been set and I doubt it will change. The reviews I've skimmed don't seem to indicate otherwise.
I was hoping for a cyberpunk Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter. But it feels much more like a Cyberpunk Call of Duty.
Graphics are pretty damn nice on PS3 aside from the shit IQ. Good texture work and nice environments. Great DoF and runs smoothly. The game is also a lot better than reviews say. Not great but definitely fun.
Activating it early? As in vpn? Nah I'm not in that much of a rush, but it would certainly be fun if I could spend an hour with the game before bed.

I looooooove the original Syndicate and am itching to get my Cyberpunk on, but time is short so its not like have any desire to play mediocre games.
But its good to hear that its OK.

Like I say, last I saw on EA it said from midnight. The US launch was at 8am EST though so depends on how they've set the switch up.
Minus the open ended level design, interesting weapons, multiple objectives and everythign else that made Perfect Dark what it was.
This is a corridor crawl with silly powers.
Say what you want, but Syndicate has great weapons. The Wanted-esque Gauss rifle is fantastic.

40hrs to earn everything, probably 7/8hrs for a play through, no split screen in case you weren't aware
Installed it, release date check says :
"Your release date will be: Thursday, February 23, 2012, 00:00"
Also, what's stopping EA from releasing the game simultaneously on origin? They're the publisher. No localization needed / or it's all done ( plus we don't live in the 90s anymore for that matter ) so what's the deal?

Which is fine, I'd be playing on PC anyway.
Co-op is a good time, but the SP is still worth playing for the beautiful scenery and artistic direction, which is stronger there than it is in the Co-op levels.
Uh. I really doubt it considering no one can find the game anywhere. And the Online Pass alone shows that EA don't give a flip

Yeah. I was going to play both. I just meant I would buy it mostly for the co-op if it's deep enough.

It's entirely your own fault for thinking that. None of the previews even hinted at this being anything more than a cyberpunk FPS with some sweet hacking abilities.

Not quite sure how this not having an online pass negates deals in place for retail to stock a title, remembering that the deal will of been made for all platforms. This BS is why even EA doesn't ban for unlocking early.
I'm saying in general, if EA cared that much about retailers they wouldn't have implemented their online pass.

I remember when cover systems consisted of hiding around a .... Hand on you can duck behind cover and peer around over it???
For all it's faults I find Origin's servers to be amazing. I get 12 MB a second off of there consistently.

nvm, its maxing out my speed now, 6.2mb/s
cant play sr3 dlc because the latest patch makes everyone crash to desktop
waiting for arkham city's new patch because its still a pile of shit at times
had enough of everything else now so decided to just get syndicate
edit: no its going higher than my max speed, i think it just shows double

I wasn't going mad when I saw steam say it had finished downloading a patch but there wasn't any news about it. Cheers.
I've seen Steam do that too
I wondered that, the vertical shooting made my mind up, but hitting Enter to start every level and every restart was a close second to make me swap... Perhaps I should remap it and see if that fixes it...
