I'll just use Prism Stars every unison attack anyway though, haha.
She had it since the GC version, but the NA version removed the Sound Test. I guess we're getting Sound Test this time, but it's weird they bothered to dub them instead of remove them.Collette has a audio line for Final Fury!?
Ps3 version has 30 fps and if they follow the Ps2 version to heart there are some dips still. Gamecube version had better visuals and framerate than PS2 and even on some of the world content you can see some textures have more detail on the gamecube version.
Look how the outline on the GC version actually adds to the game while the not having the outline really makes the Ps3 version lose the visual charm the original version had.

I'm pretty sure you still get all hits against small enemies with Prism Stars. The bad thing about it is that many bosses resist Light.so true. It sucks for small bosses but watever.
Which version is that screen from? It looks like either the PS3 version or an emulated version of the GC release.
I have the GC and Wii versions of Symphonia and Dawn but I love it so much that I'd happily buy the HD remake as I love Symphonia so much. That being said, the way the EU is being shafted with regards to the CE, and the fact that Symphonia is 30FPS, is making me consider cancelling my CE out of principle and just replaying it via Dolphin.
For some reason, it STILL has unused audio. Like Colette has a line for Final Fury and Sephiroth, Lloyd for a bunch of attacks.
I always thought it was dependent on size because on smaller enemies, I'd hear less hits than I would if it were a big one like a dragon or something.Bahahahaha Raine's Fairy Circle sounds so awful.

Why redub Falcon's Crest, though?
The dub line was pretty cringeworthy back in 2004, so I'm for them redubbing it.... but he doesn't even say new line for the Mystic Arte itself, he just kind of grunts, lol.
They might have just cut the line im half, actually.
In the Gamecube version he'd say "I'll show you devine justice!" now it's just "I'll show you!"
Yeah, Sacred Light's audio sounds like it was taken from the unused audio of the GC version.
Why redub Falcon's Crest, though?
Phantasia GBA does not exist.still better than Phantasia GBA's localization, haha.
So concerning Flanoir.
How do I get Kratos to join my party? I don't like that pink haired traitor.
Yeah, though I wish Xillia had gotten this CE treatment. They had set a precedent for doing large, full color manuals for LEs with Ni No Kuni before that came out, and even just a two CD thing would've been nice. Ah well, at least they did a nice package this time even if ultimately I'm skipping it.Other than that, good job getting the old dub actors back in studio for a few lines even if they didn't voice skits.... and making a pretty sweet looking CE. That's about all the praise they're getting out of me.

I remember you had to decline talking to everyone else at flanoir, and he'll talk to you. Can't remember if there was any other prerequisites.
Have enough affection towards Kratos so that he is one of your top 3 affinities, and talk to him when he knocks at Flanoir. The character with highest affinity towards Lloyd will knock first, you can decline them and whoever has second highest affinity with Lloyd. Kratos in the GCN version would always come last if you declined your top 3, but that's no longer the case, so he has to be in your top 3.
So are they going to keep up their recent tradition and sell DLC of levels and gald for this one, too? I think it's a bit unnecessary and it cheapens the experience.

Symphonia costumes are kind of weird too because titles affect your stat boosts upon leveling up, and Costume titles don't net you any, deterring the player from using them.
Or am I remembering that wrong?
I think Sheena and Zelos have biker costumes in this version and Lloyd and Kratos get kimonos or something like that. Are they any good?
Okay, Presea actually looks cute, but come on Collete...
Here's the new costumes from the PS2 version.

Dat gender bend
Wonder what crazy things we need to do to unlock these.
So which game saves give you outfits in this game? I only have ToX and ToG

We have no info on the Vesperia and Xillia 2 ones. They might be removed or kept Xillia 2 until it releases here which would be moronic tbh. Give Vesperia to those who have Graces F save file and Xillia 2 for Xillia 1 save file makes more sense than removing them.
I just watched the dub video, and it feels like a big problem is the pitch or clarity compared to the older stuff. I would say Zelos and Kratos sound the most different, Raine as well in some parts. Presea is close, but is missing that hoarseness in her voice when she does the higher tones.Lloyd sounds the same. Zelos, Raine and Kratos sound a bit different, like on a different pitch.
Collette has a audio line for Final Fury!?
Which one? Did you mean when she say's "here I go"? Compared to how she says infliction after, I think it's the same voice.EDIT: Oh no, it's Genis line coming from Presea. God damn it, Namco.
