For some context: TF2's community has started its second movement to get Valve's attention to fix the bot problem that has been plaguing the game for 5 years.

It’s pretty disappointing to see TF2's reviews drop to "Mixed," but honestly, the bot problem has been getting out of hand for a while now. It’s frustrating when you just want to hop into a casual game, and it’s filled with bots ruining the experience. Hopefully, Valve steps up and addresses this soon because it’s really affecting the community vibe.

The topic is old now, the petition worked and Valve squashed the bot problem like a bug. The game is now at 87% average (very positive) and climbing with 93% recent.

The game is in maintenance mode. They add some seasonal community made maps and cosmetic items.
It needs a TF2/2 upgrade like they did with Counterstrike. A complete Source 2 rewrite to get rid of all the original source spaghetti code and give the community new features and modern tools.
