I'm really struggling to find other people on PC, I have to just sit in warm up mode and hope someone finds me. Tournaments, ranked, or just regular online all come up empty for some reason
Odd. I'm out in the bum fuck no where, usually I give up on fighting games due to the lack of finding opponents. This has been one of the few games where that's not the case. That's not to say I don't have to wait like 5 minutes to find someone, but still atleast I DO find someone.

Didn't know you could get demoted, how many straight loses are needed for a demotion?
I had 8 in a row I think.
It depends on what rank you lose to.
Similar rank = highest points gained or lost

Most only go into the RP DP because it starts faster than LP DP. Her 1,1 string is not a natural combo unless counterhit. You can get LP DP off of WS+1 and B+4 off a normal hit though and that starts a juggle. She really can't hit confirm anything unless she does the 2,2 string into RP DP. She is actually pretty risky. Her D+3 is cancellable into specials but you only really can connect EX QCB special or RP DP off a normal hit and you need to be close enough or it won't connect, many times if you clip them with her toes they can block the EX QCB special.
Cancellable normals are the 1,1 string, 2,2 string, B+4, D+3, and WS+1.

You can only do her standing1 into 1 dp on counter hit. Online this is going to be fucking rare so most people will just do the 1 into the 2 dp and settle for the 30 damage punish
Always remember to change the AI's Action 2 to Guard All in practice mode, that'll tell you what the real natural combos are.
An i10 ch launcher is still fucking strong, though. I don't think even Bryan gets that if the first jab hits ch.
you can do it with a clean hit d+3 as well... which is fun but really difficult for me to nail the dp input

Probably b+2,1,3. It's not a natural combo so you can block/low parry it if you recognize/react fast enough to the sweep. The 3 can also be cancelled into a throw for additional mind games.

A local Drag player I know was doing this exact thing to me and he just fell apart when I figured out how to deal with it and punish lol.

I did catch him with the low parry once I'd worked out he kept going for it. That'll learn him.

I had 3 in a row and had a demotion chance, won the next game and over came the demotion. Haven't gone back to ranked since then.

Shaheen is like Tekken 6 BR Lars but replace lightning screw with Shaheen's fliplick. He's the complete character with very nearly toolset imaginable: Incredible punishment from both standing and crouching, safe orbital heels, high & low crushing hopkick, a 14f punisher that does as much damage as a full juggle, magic 4, full crouch slide/mid mixups, safe d/f+2 launcher.
Biggest thing is he's incredibly easy to play. I'd say now after some testing Shaheen is the best beginner character to learn Tekken's system with. He'll expose you to a good majority of the important strengths to look for in characters.

Why cant you record moves for the CPU in training without the touchpad button.... Hori fightpads and a ton of arcade sticks don't have one.
I heard if you set the hori to ps3 mode you can use the share button as select/touchpad

treasure mode AI is some bullshit. Can't blame people for just cheesing through it but it's so un-fun. Who thought it was a good idea to lock customization items behind random drops from a huge pool? If you got stuff for your character it wouldn't be so bad, but this is tedious af

It's pretty funny, 2 days ago I posted how happy I was to make the green ranks given that I'm completely new to Tekken. Since then I've won exactly 2 matches and was demoted once and almost a second time.

Story mode driving me nuts as a newbie (only Tekken I ever played was 3). Going to just mash throw the rest in easy and move on to finding a character to start focusing on learning and learning the game. Story mode isn't conducive to that with jumping between characters so much.
