Every single game I've tried to quick join online has said connection to opponent has been lost. It's getting old.

Injustice 2 had their shit working online pretty flawlessly right out the gate.

Steam, Ferrio. But I'm in Alaska, if you're in EU it is most likely the worst connection possible. I'm interested in seeing how bad it would be.

All power crushes can be beat by a low hitting move and by throws.

Everyone has a low parry by hitting DF at the right time. Rest of the characters have character specific ones.

The only reliable one is her f,f+4 and that move feels like a commitment at close enough ranges.

Decided to try online tonight, I guess I was lucky because I got a ranked match after a couple minutes waiting in the search list. Netcode was really good, I'm impressed. What a difference from T6.

Also did a tournament, I was surprised I got in so fast. Ended up with 3rd place with Ling, a Josie player got me. Josie is no slouch. The Asuka player in the final was brutal though, made me feel like I have a lonnng way to go. It's one thing to do combos in practice and against AI, but quite another to pull them off under pressure.

Question on tournaments, where does the prize money come from? Does it get deducted from each participant, or is just monopoly money that is awarded by the game?

Quality of life features that would add so much to the game:

• The ability to rematch in lobbies without having to sit through another character select and stage select.
  
• The ability to search for a casual match while in "proper" training mode/treasure battle mode.
  
• The ability to revenge rematch without having to sit through another loading screen.

Knees and headbutts and shoulders can't be countered.

That's why Feng's qcf+1 is so good. A high damage low that can't be low parried and gives a combo on counter hit.

That's an engine, not a game. My phone can run UE4 doesn't mean it's going to run Tekken 7.

To be fair PSP has a port of Tekken 6 so if they wanted this on Switch they could down scale the game. Although I feel that Tekken Switch (if there is one) will be using Tekken 7 as a base but be it's own thing.

Happens to me multiple times. I ran the executable as administrator, rebooted the PC and it's gone. I then removed that requirement(run as admin) after that and it didn't pop up anymore.

It works, but still laggy.
People are not being picky at all.
It is frustrating to be neck and neck against someone and go for a combo and hit a lag pocket causing you to drop the easiest follow ups and just stand there eating fist and feet when it should have been over.

Ugh yeah laggy matches really suck. My first tournament was really smooth though, the second not so much, had players from the Americas, which were 1,2 bars.

This is a pretty good image.

Throw the Bears in intermediate. They're not technically hard to play, but I would never recommend them to newcomers because adjusting to their shortcomings would not be a good thing to learn for Tekken overall.

I could see Lili, Law and Alisa in intermediate as well but it's negligible. Akuma and Eliza are "for 2D players" tier.

Damn Alisa is annoying. Played against someone that wasn't that good, but her shenanigans just kept messing with me at first. Lots of lows and weird ass moves.
