Wow thanks for that noods, will get around to messing with that after Skyrim.

Btw, where is that arcade > console timeframe list? Gotta imagine a small revision would be made. :p

P.S. And that's an awesome stick! & it's a wonder how pristine the condition is on your T3 PS1 cover! Mine was in pieces 6 months in and had to be put in one of those Disc booklets :p.

Thanks, took a while to build it :D

T3 is in mint condition with the gold foil logo still beautiful. Wanted to get that signed instead of newer titles because it's the most memorable entry in the series and would have more serious collectors item value ;D

If anyone knows how to play Armor King, this is a real treat for you:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=szfOZyn5yAQ

Killerdoll (P1 Finland) vs JDCR (P2 Korea)

2 of the best Armor King players in the world, having a first to 5 wins mirror match. It also really shows how versatile the Tekken system is the way it allows such unique playstyles for the same character. There's so many minute precise things going on, but being an Armor King player myself and following the thought process behind what's going on really made the series of matches fascinating.

I don't know if they are doing it in that video, but Koreans play with higher health. 110% I think?

I've actually played Killerdoll online, but I was distracted by someone so I played like ass.

It was definitely 100%. It's just that JDCR probably has the most defensive playstyle out of anyone in the universe. That would explain the slightly slow playstyle of the match.

Woah, nice. I assume Norway (I think you're from Norway, right) to Finland get some good connections?

Woah, didn't know those individual scores by each artis. What a gem of an artist found in newcomer Taku Inoue. His contributions were really nice:

Zirkus, FFYR, Night Falls

Look forward to seeing what further contributions he can brink to the series in the future :) Great Find.

I picked up a LE Tekken Hybrid here in Japan!

ALSO, I finally went on the + for wins. 10-3 last night. Whew.

Damn, AAK's Heihachi is scary. Good games all around despite disconnects. That synching message is the bane of my life, though. Namco better have a net code 10x better for Tag 2.

Zikrus (Historic Town Square) is another one I love. And that piano + guitar tune in Night Falls, Dear God.

That's not surpising, Tag is in your blood! You beat Korea's elite with Tag combo's and even Filthierich himself during NEC casuals ;)

OH man, that thing was too annoying.

But you can credit that Mishima play to TTT2 Prologue, with nobody but the Mishima's + Ling/Alisa to play with!

I wish Nina and Anna had a tag throw where they both did a blonde bomb from opposing sides (sort of like how sandwich combos work), then followed up with bad habit (yes, hit in the nuts from opposing sides) which takes the opponent high in the air. Then, while the opponent is returning from air, they both follow up with hunting swan.
One can hope.

I would love to see more Tag throws, but I want to see even more some specific TAG Combo's like the Anna/Nina + Hwoa/Baek + Paul/Law stuff!

Had a crack at tekken tag the other day at the arcade, I got my ass handed to me. I've lost any skill I had since I last played tekken 3.

I wouldn't expect anyone to do well if the last he/she played was Tekken 3. So much stuff introduced since then.

Which is why I need the game in my hands. The amount of experimenting I would do with tag combos........
Namco should put up a Tag 2 demo on PSN as well sometime next year and also include a demo of TKXSF in the Tag 2 retail release.

Tekken Tag Tournament HD is a blast on Very Hard with three rounds, I really got Law down, it's weird trying to play as Law when I'm used to the Tekken 6 moveset, but it's easy to adapt.

Tekken Tag Prologue, I would be more interested in if there was a practice mode, but there probably isn't because not all of the moves are final. I get what everyone's talking about with the graphics, they look scratchy and jagged.

Not related to a Tekken game, but just want to say that I've composed a playlist of 50 tekken OST tracks in preparation for SSX's custom soundtrack feature where it even dynamically remixes the tunes during tricks and such.

I'm actually really excited about the game mainly for that feature and having a glorified best of tekken tracks in one game. I chose songs that seemed like they would work well with that style of gameplay and setting.

NICE! I did the exact same thing with WipeoutHD. I can't tell you how well T3's Hidden Characters and T2's Super Killing Machine went with those races.

Not much of a follower of the SSX series but is it just like WipeoutHD where tunnels have the concert esque acoustics louder and echo's flowing everywhere and jumps make the music go almost deaf? That stuff was completely genius, put so many hours into zone mode listening to Tekken's masteful soundtrack :)

When does SSX come out... I know nothing bout the new one but loved the older ones.

The french event, World Game Cup'12 in Cannes on the 17th-19th of February will also have a Tekken TAG 2 2v2 tournament and a Street Fighter x Tekken solo tournament!

I will definitely be going again this year! And Finland's biggest Tekken tournament ASSEMBLY Winter'12 will be a week from that! So all you travelers make sure to be at both events on the same trip! It's going to be AWESOME! :D
Are any of these events going being streamed? I'm looking around but I can't see if it is or not.

even though nyc might not get a loc test they might still get the game from what i've been hearing. im new to tekken so right now im trying to figure out who to play. the two teams i want to play are nina/lars or asuka/lili. are there such characters that are not recommended when starting off?

Nina is probably the most difficult of those characters.

I'm a decent Tekken player, but that atrocious Xbox 360 D-Pad is really a handicap of mine on the 360. I have T6 for both 360 and PS3, but I play it mainly on my 360 becouse I have no friends that play T6 on the PS3... is there a realible and cheap controller converter from PS2/PS3 to 360?
I'm from the EU. If anyone wants to pay some tekken, give me a shout.

Great PS2 -> 360 converter:

And also the most rewarding. :p
But yeah, it'll take time to get good with her.

it's really weird since often i get she's good for beginners and others say otherwise. she seems a bit straight forward. would you say she may be difficult because of some technical moves such as the butterfly loop?

Aside from the butterfly loop, her movements and setups can take time to learn. The more you play with her, the more you learn when and how to punish. It all won't come initially even if you've memorized all her combos. There's a point with each character where you can feel like you know what to do. It's sort of like a natural thing that develops as you play. Nina takes much longer to achieve that imo.
